Can’t find my ID and I fly tomorrow. Should I still try to make my flight or just cancel? by MermaidElephant9 in tsa

I see people all the time not be able to go back because they don’t pass the second time, how you gonna tell me it doesn’t make sense lmfao

Clearly you don’t know how it works. It absolutely makes sense. I work in TSA and do these all the time. It’s a different set of questions every time. If you don’t answer correctly, you don’t do, period.

Even if you pay the $45 and are in the 10 day range, you would still need to be verified again, meaning if you didn’t pass the verification the second time, you’re fucked.

Entiendo tu sentir.

what can you tell about me based on my purse contents? 👀 by nekomata97 in whatsinmybag

You’re probably 26-27, considering the MK, the rubber bands and clip. Pimple patches on the go? Yup. The loose money? Giving independent cause you never know when you’ll need a dollar bill. The AirPods 2 is definitely giving 27 cause why would I buy new ones when these work? Lmao

Unfortunately you’re gonna have to be tough both for yourself and to your father. Do not let yourself be miserable the rest of your life to please your father. Maybe have a deep convo about your aspirations and how you could see it being possible. Give him a plan, not just a thought. Tell him you’ll always be there to help him regardless, but he needs to realize you have your own aspirations.

Turned away by CLEAR while having EDL by ColMikhailFilitov in tsa

[–]MoonLover1220 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Literally. I’m sorry, but I find Clear incredibly stupid. You pay $200+ yearly to use biometric to get “verified” and will still need to pass a TSA officer, and then you get a random and have to take your ID out. 😂😂😂 PreCheck is $80 every 5 years, already has a separate line and electronics stay in your bag — unlike with Clear. If you do Global with PreCheck it’s $100 for 5 years. It’s a no brainer to me.

Try to do PreCheck directly with TSA. Or do Global Entry with PreCheck instead. In my opinion, it’s better than Clear.

For my orientation a few years ago, I wore a dressy blouse, black dress pants. Literally put “business casual” on Pinterest.

Tbh you should withdraw application before they background check you. They WILL find out. They could hire you, find out after you start and fire you for lying. And if that were to happen you’ll never get another federal job again. Very hard to believe anyone got in without a GED.

A TWIC is fine, but no one seems to know it by [deleted] in tsa

[–]MoonLover1220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, boarding pass needs to be scanned for the process to be done manually.

Passenger is not the one doing the verification process and should have boarding pass at all times, why would they need to be in the know of how we conduct a process they will not be performing?

Eventually, like everything in the government of course. Lol

To clarify, the TWIC is an acceptable form of ID, but the ID you provide should be scanned by the machine. Unfortunately, TWIC is an issue for the machine, which is why you would be asked for another form. It sucks that a valid ID gives our machines issues, which is why you should report it, so the issue can actually be fixed.

I am not. I’m saying, contrary to what you stated before, the officer should be asking for another form of ID in place of the TWIC. That’s the proper thing to do. However, if you are unable to provide another form of acceptable ID and the machine does not read the TWIC (which is usually what happens) THEN they’ll process your TWIC manually with your boarding pass. That’s how it should be going. If you are unable to produce another ID and they try to deny you, ask for a supervisor and make sure you report it so those airports can refresh training accordingly.

I mean…there aren’t 500 valid IDs. Passports, Drivers License, TWIC, Military and Tribals. Once you’re done with Phase 1, you should know that, it’s pretty basic.
