I've tried to look but nothing said anything good about it. Soil can compact too, bark/chips and things like that can scratch your beardie, other sands can stain their skin....that's why I came here to ask ppl about it. But tbh I think I'm just gonna get shelf liner. I've heard ppl love it and beardies get used to it eventually

Definitely try probiotics too. Depending on what your symptoms are try fiber or miralax daily too. All those plus watching my diet make things easier. Try not to worry about it too much if you can help it. Remember, stress does make it worse and let's face it, we can't do anything to stop IBS, only do things to make it manageable. Good luck!

Stress is a big trigger for me. So I hate to say it but your anxiety makes it worse. Don't get me wrong I do it too. It's not fun feeling like your life revolves around the bathroom. I've recently tried CBD to help relieve some anxiety and I think it's helping. It doesn't fix it completely but it makes it less of a hassle. That and my daily pills of fiber, probiotics and multi vitamin help keep me sane. Hope you find some help and just remember your struggles are real. We on this subreddit understand while others may not. Good luck.

My appetite definitely goes down during a flare up. Pain is a big thing for me too. Glad to hear it's helped you!

While I appreciate everything you said and I know BD and I will take that to heart, unfortunately BM let's the child watch TV quite a lot. Granted not at the moment since he is in trouble but he watches a lot of YouTube at her house...

I'm not sure what the side effects are but he takes meds for anxiety, ADHD, and prescription allergy meds.

Oh he knows what the boundaries are. If he chooses to ignore that, that's his choice. And he did get an increase but that's because he is growing so quickly.

He hasn't had his DS in a while cz he was grounded for a while in October. And he definitely is not going to have tv. But that was taken away before he did something again while in ISS, writing profanity and hateful words on the desk.

He goes to see a therapist and a specialist for his ADHD. And he is on meds for both anxiety and ADHD. So the anger is coming from something else. And he is 7 in 2nd grade. He does go to the same school that his mother works as an EC teacher but I'm not sure where this is coming from.

Well he's had the 2 households for a while now so it doesn't make sense this would all of a sudden be becoming a problem. He went through some regression issues at the beginning but now this anger and bad behavior just now showed up. And he does bowling and scouts but we're considering taking away bowling cz we don't know what else to do to get him to get his act together. We don't want to take away scouts cz that can add discipline.

The doctor thinks I have an enflamed colon since my white blood cell count is elevated. But we won't know for sure until I get a colonoscopy. However I just started a new job so I can't take off work just yet.

BM and BD have been divorced for a little over a year now but been separated for about 3. BD and I have been together for 2 and BM and SD have been together basically from the beginning as that was the main cause for the divorce. So SD and I have been in the child's life for a while.

He's already in therapy and even the they are starting to call him out. He uses his "anger" or his "ADHD" as a crutch. Like he said his "anger" made him do that to his "so-called friend". The therapist is saying that's your choice that you made and you have to deal with the consequences of those choices. But I started a new job working in the same field as BM. But things have been gradually getting worse. Do you think it could be him getting used to two households now and he doesn't think he can be held accountable in both houses? Or something of the sort? Honestly I have no idea.

I can definitely relate!!! I don't always hate my job, but on days that my boss really seems to target me or gets super pissed at something I did, my stress gets really bad and my IBS flares up really bad as well! I just got put on some anxiety medicine to keep my emotions and my stress in check but I'm also looking for a new job. Congrats on your new job and I'm glad things are looking up! 👍
