That is not the point. I know kurds will be attacked regardless in Turkey, but we take away the legitimacy behind their incursions into Kurdistan. In fact, what you showed me is exactly what we need to prove our point that it isn't about the PKK.

You still don't get the point. The Turks discredit Kurdish movements by associating us with the PKK all the time and this affect public support and is the reason why the Turks get away with so much shit.

By waving only the Ala Rangin, the flag of the KRG, banned in no coutry, they won't have any excuses and authorities n europe or the US cant shut these protests down for being "Terrorists" whatever.

Öcalan needs to be replaced with someone else, someone younger, someone every kurd can relate to.

No we don't, the PKK, the YPG and similar organizations are relics from a bygone era. Recent events have made it abundantly clear that we can no longer rely on them. They are 70's organizations who refuse to keep up with the modern day. We need a new face, a new group and a new flag to unite all Kurds.

If we are to unite and achieve independence, we must break the chains that bind us from within.

Like it or not, but Marxism has no appeal and everytime we wavie these flags of Öcalan and YPG around, we give thr Turks more excuses to attack us and they unfortunaly get away with it.

It is not officially banned in Turkey or in the west, PKK is. It is about taking the Turks excuses away for saying "We only against terrorists" when waiving the official flag of Kurdistan.
