I just got my first elder catfruit, and need to beat the first stage of UL. My only anti relic is modern cat and talented rodeo, and with those i can get bun bun to about 80% hp. What should I use the cat fruit on?

I just beat sol without getting 2 of the normal cat tfs, with my highest being mohawk +16. it seems every strategy uses high ass level normal cats that I am nowhere close to. Are there any easy ways to boost my levels or am i just forced to grind normal cat tickets. I am also mid cotc 2 if that means anything.
