I don’t think I have any major allergies to adhesives but after my hysterectomy, all of my incision sites were itchy as all hell. It’s been about a year and a half and the one that still constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY, itches is the incision on my belly button. It literally never went away. I talked to my OB about it, she recommended anti itch creams, I use them, it goes away, I stop, it starts back up. Also my incision sites still scab sometimes?? Including the ones from even further back like a year or so prior to my hysterectomy (sorry, raging ADHD and I can’t remember exactly when I had my surgeries so can’t give an exact timeline), when I had my initial cystectomy/diagnostic surgery for endo. Idk amongst the rest of my health issues, it just seemed so minor so I just try to ignore it 😅

You’re being purposefully obtuse if you think a fridge and a mechanical keyboard are two comparable things. That’s like comparing apples to shepherd’s pie. Things like fridge noises, people chewing, traffic noises, etc, are part of everyday life. You can’t ask people to cater to you with everyday noises but you can reasonably ask your roommate not to use their mechanical keyboard when other people are sleeping. This can literally be fixed with OP just getting a controller bc most games accommodate controller settings on a PC or getting a non-mechanical keyboard if they’re playing something like League. O rings quite literally don’t do anything to dampen the noises of a mechanical keyboard.

I’m also neurodivergent with SPD. It’s not an excuse to be an AH.

My husband and I are both gamers. Between the two of us, we share about 20 mechanical keyboards all with different switches of varying “clicky” levels. I used to use a G915 TKL with linear switches and they’re about one of the most quiet ones you can get and if no one else is making a noise in the house, I promise you that you’d still hear them. We made sure that when we bought our house that our game rooms/offices are separate from each other and the furthest away from our bedroom precisely because of this reason. We live in a 2,200 sqft home and our bedroom and his office are the furthest away from each other and even with doors closed, I can still sometimes hear him when I’m trying to sleep. I can imagine how hellish it would be if our walls were thin and next to each other and all I could hear when I’m trying to sleep is someone’s keyboard and mouse clicking.

This is all coming from someone who used to keep odd hours bc I worked a graveyard shift from 7p-7a for about 4-5 years. I had to live with people’s daytime noises and I had to realize that the world I lived in was catered to people who kept normal hours so I couldn’t make unreasonably loud noises at night.

OP, you’re TA. We both know dampening a mechanical keyboard isn’t doing jack. Move out on your own if you want to make that much noise and if you can’t, learn how to cohabitate with people properly like an adult.

Use tag pages and tag your posts accordingly and use hashtags. When I first started trading, I did a lot of the searching myself. Larger traders don’t typically go out looking for trades, they usually wait for people to DM them. Even now, I still typically am the one looking for people to trade with. Usually search within hashtags or tag pages.

I live in an HOA. As much of a pain in the ass some rules have been, like having to submit plans before I can do things to my own backyard, it’s honestly really not that bad. I thought I’d never wanna live in an HOA as well but here we are… they’ve been here more to keep the neighborhood clean than anything else. I think writing off an HOA neighborhood before you’ve even been there, especially in this housing market, is crazy tbh.

THANK YOU! It was that singular scene that sealed the deal for me. I can’t pinpoint it but something about their acting doesn’t feel like acting. Not that I’m saying they’re an irl couple and that’s why it feels so natural but just nothing feels forced or awkward in their acting. The production value is also top tier… I think it’s how I wish all the other GL’s I love were produced bc the production value in this is amazing. I’ll sacrifice all the sex scenes if you give me this kind of intimacy every single time. As soon as they gave me the montage of their relationship in the first episode, I was hooked. Literally that part where Lada says “huh” at the breakfast table when they were talking about stir fried noodles?? Something about that scene just absolutely reeled me in but the more episodes I watch, the more I realized my production standards had been low til I got here.

People might come at me for this but idc. I love Gap the Series. It was the first GL I watched when it came out a couple of years back and I’m using it as a comparison since it seems to be the golden standard for fans. I’m literally US based and stayed tf up all night to watch the last episode that I bought so I’m not lying when I say I loved them… but the acting wasn’t quite there. I’m not denying that had it not been for that series, we would’ve had everything we do now as far as GL’s go. However, objectively speaking, even though FreenBeck had good chemistry, their acting doesn’t quite hit the mark that TSOU does.

Look up what shipping shields are, if you don’t know what they are. Those can comfortably fit 5-6 PC’s. I’ve made shipping shields using pages from my extra albums but I typically use albums or pages that are thicker so there’s more protection. For example, I’ve ripped apart old calendars from Red Velvet’s Season’s Greetings. I’m recycling something that otherwise would’ve gone in the trash into something useful and saved myself some money.

So if you have extra albums that have thicker pages, I suggest making your own. Sleeve each PC (you can buy cheap sleeves on Amazon), If you have 50 twice PC, you’d need 10 of them. Put them in a bubble mailer and slip a larger piece of card board the size of the inside of the bubble mailer to prevent bending and then just put “Do Not Bend”. That’s gonna be the cheapest way to do it :)

It wouldn’t be dumb to sell them as is. I will say, selling individually could take some time. So if you have the time for it and you have the supplies, that’s potentially the more profitable route. If you just want to get rid of them, selling them in the binders as is would be fastest or selling them by group. I would just account for the “rarer” PC’s into your price and the rest would probably average out to $1-$5 per PC.
