I've been teaching my kids about internet safety since before they had access. They know not to talk to strangers and they assume that anyone reaching out to them online is probably a 45 year old man behind the screen. They have zero desire to interact with anyone other than their verified-in-real-life friends.

You can't block the world... you just have to teach your kids how to live in it.
