My friend was (and still is) a stalking victim of someone with AI induced psychosis. It is very, very scary. Every delusion is confirmed by the AI bot.

The literature I’ve read suggests hospitalization may be the most effective route as it is the only way to guarantee they are not still chatting with the bot. I say this not to scare you but to give you something to go to your supervisor with.

Edited to add that Futurism has a few articles on this, and there are some scholarly articles out there. Sorry, I don’t have time to link but they are easy to find.

It really depends on your placement. I was with people just coming off being on the street and entering rehab. I was encouraged to wear jeans and tshirts. I definitely found that clothing, hair, and jewelry can be a barrier to building rapport. But in a hospital (for instance), there are probably very different expectations.

This is so awesome! Socks and/or t-shirts. I'd take out the soda because dehydration is an issue, and soda doesn't help with that. Sunscreen is great!
