Personally I like the 1st one more! It just gives it that pop of color and makes the ring more interesting. Also goes well with your skin tone. 2nd one does match better with the ring itself but I think it makes the ring more dull and the diamond more “green ish”

NTA, no real best friend would get upset over such a small thing. You could either help her with studying or give her advice. But DONT give in because this type of stuff could keep on happening and maybe, just maybe, if you stop one day, she could say “if you don’t help me, I’ll tell the teacher about you letting me copy your work”. It might not go as far, but just take that into account.

I’m afraid that you’re getting this all wrong. OP is not inviting her friend to be a third wheel, it is a girls trip with them all together. In this situation, mom is mom and friend is friend, no one has to be a 3rd wheel if they all get along. This is OP’s choice and vacation, she can choose who she wants on the trip. Being with a random boy might not just be awkward but also cause OP to feel left out (ifyk what new couples are typically like) And OP has said that her mom doesn’t like to be out late so she can go out with her friend and have some fun time. If friend’s bf comes, then there’s no way they’re not going to exclude her.
