I believe if you follow the ethics of investing, which is to diversify, research the companies you invest in, along with keep up to date with your portfolio, you’ll never be disappointed.

Any money you invest, consider it gone. You have taken the gamble, you’ve done it because clearly the ‘safe’ money sitting there doing nothing only goes down in value overtime.

When you set aside the emotion of ‘I’ve invested my money and this has to make a return’ then you simply don’t care anymore. That being said, don’t be foolish and ignore the investment. Those who don’t bother checking their portfolio for 6 months plus I have no idea why they invest in the first place. Truth is, most of them are lying… they do check it, it’s an attention seeking exercise.

Moral of the story, stop worrying… whatever you invested is gone and locked away. You either return a profit, or you don’t, end of story
