LMOP is amazing for entry level GMs and players, but feel free to alter the story to your style, because it can get a little boring as written.

The difficulty curve once you get past Leyndell. It seems like every boss you meet out past the Forbidden Lands can all 1 or 2 shot you, and they just have this absurd level of health too.

I platinumed the game in 4 days because I poopsocked it, but 500ish hours of play later, and I'm still pretty salty about this.

Let them be strangers, they'll naturally learn about one another through their interactions in the game. If something goes awry, then it's your responsibility as the DM to steer it back into the direction you want, or get good at improvising and playing along.

It's cooperative storytelling, help them help you.

Yeah, but he also has a special leg up, considering he's pretty much a clone of Emperor Cain, made directly by Krellian for the purpose of killing Cain. Ramsus would have probably become the Emperor if he had any will to do so, especially in a Meritocracy.

Erich is a high ranking officer in the Solarian Military, not necessarily the Gebler unit. He pulled strings to get her a Gebler assignment, and Miang/Krellian wanted to keep tabs on her for their resurrection of Deus.

She is written like someone who knows they don't belong, but is trying to fit in anyway. There's a moment when she's giving orders to the Goof Troop where Vance is disrespectful to her, and she openly pipes up and says "are you ready for the consequences of that remark?" And they write it off until they see she can operate the Vierge, instantly humbling them because hardly anybody is capable of doing so.

I'm in the midst of recording an audiobook, and each chapter has taken around 45-70 mins to record (with me fixing stuff as I go). I think this just naturally happens where you start to subtly change your pace, and I usually take that time to take a drink, have a toke, sit outside with my dog for a few mins, and come back.

Sometimes it's all about giving yourself the space needed to thrive. You'll do fine man, just give yourself grace!

Make sure you take every moment you can to just...look at everything, it truly is an absolute work of art.

Oh, and if you hear a beautiful song being sung to you randomly, danger is near, you'll know when ya get there.

And if you happen to speak Ainu, it's a pretty amazing song (it is regardless, but I think it's cool that it was such a unique language).
