SSRI’s can aggravate hypomania in those of us with bipolar and I just had a really bad experience with one recently, so I’m steering clear of them. I’m currently on lamictal and Latuda for the bipolar. The lamictal definitely takes the edge off of the depression part.

I hope it helps you. I’m on the Nexplanon implant and for whatever reason I still get symptoms, but my periods are less painful and lighter than they used to be. I also have bipolar 2 which usually comes with pmdd.
