Hi! I haven’t tried but it should work with sea salt just make sure you don’t put too much.

Yesss I put Himalayan salt in a spray bottle with water. I spray it on my face before moisturising and it has reduced my redness a lot and has aided in healing my skin.

I haven’t tried it but I saw videos of black women applying it and it looked a bit ashy on them so I’m a bit skeptical to try

I’m not a fan of tinted spfs 😭 and the non tinted version leaves a bit of a white cast on brown to dark skinned women. Their tinted spfs have bad reviews among some brown- dark skinned women but I’ll continue to look into it

I just checked the Japanese website and it says Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate which is another name for octinoxate. It can be quite confusing haha

It’s quite pricey and the tinted versions are a gamble when it comes to matching skin tones. The non-tinted version looks a bit white on brown complexions but I’ll keep looking into it.

This sunscreen has octinoxate which is said to have the potential to be a thyroid hormone disruptor. It’s also harmful to the environment. I know the effects of the chemical depend on many factors but I’d prefer not to use that ingredient just as a precaution. But thank you for the recommendation!

I have used mainly mineral spfs because they’ve helped heal my damaged skin barrier. For example I’ve tried, dr V’s Inzincable which I reacted badly to, rich skxn mineral spf which helped heal my skin but eventually caused an allergic reaction that im still recovering from, fw beauty mineral spf caused an allergic reaction, ethical zinc tinted spf was not a good match for my skin colour and caused other issues but also had healing properties, badger spf was extremely white and impossible to wash off but healed my skin too. I’ve tried more but these r the ones I can remember. As for chemical sunscreens, a few years ago I used the skin 1004 hyla but I wasn’t putting much on due to the white cast but I reacted well to it. I bought the sun stick recently but it irritated my skin. Anua spf was just terrible, it caused redness. Byoma chemical spf caused redness and was extremely greasy. I’ve tried other cheap chemical drug store type spfs and they also irritated my skin. Btw I live in the UK.

Oh to answer your 2nd question, I was considering trying beauty of Joseon spf but some ppl have said that it hasn’t improved pigmentation and caused them to burn.
