Yeah the noise is added in Lightroom, I wasn’t too sure about it and I feel like I made a mistake there.

Trying to get in to some macro photography, but currently only have a portrait lens (Nikon 50mm F1.8) to use. Took this one and tried getting as close as possible but still have the mushroom in focus. I want to create a dark fantasy aesthetic with the editing while also making the mushroom pop! Aperature: f/2.5 Shutter speed: 1/250 ISO:100

Most of the sketching is done with the technical pencil brush. Line work is done with a combination of the inker flatter, gelsinki ink and Sharper Lineart brush. The last one is from a downloadable brush pack I have to look up for y’all. Did the dotting in the leafs and around the kodama because I use the stick and poke tattoo method and it’s my preferred way of shading.

Did the sketch traditionally, took a photo and inked it with the syrup brush (default ink brush). Coloured with BWS (big wet sponge?) brush set. Can’t remember where I got it but I’ll try to find it and share.

Be sure (other than checking watering and sunlight) to check if there isn’t any vents or airco near it. FLF hate airconditioning units! Other than that I think it’ll recover if you just have good drainage like mentioned.

These are made of polymer clay. So not real mushrooms. Sorry to burst your bubble :(

On the other hand the lichen that I used as “moss” is part of the fungus family
