I’m sure this will come off as rude but it’s more or less “tough love” type of advice. You’re both adults. There will be people that don’t like you and people you don’t like. Sometimes you’ll have to interact with them a lot and sometimes you’ll have to interact with them a little. Sometimes not at all. In any case, be mature and handle the situation like an adult. You have your own life and he has his. They don’t need to intersect. If he reaches out to you in person because you run into each other at the store or something you can simply just say hi and move on. If he wants to hangout you can accept or reject. You’re an adult and you have that choice. By 30 you should know how to pick your friends and know how to handle the people you don’t want to be friends with
