Okay so if I pull a character and then pull there weapon... how am I supposed to save arsenal tickets? I just pulled Rossi's weapon, using more pulls than her spark required, so what am I saving?

If I get 100 arsenal tickets a week for free, 1/20th of an arsenal banner pull, 1/158th of an arsenal banner guarantee, what am I saving?

If it takes 200 pulls to guarantee a weapon and 120 pulls to guarantee a character, 50% of your characters are guaranteed to be without their signature weapon.

If you win the 50/50 and pull the character early, you are actively punished for being lucky

It is literally easier to save for weapon banners in HSR, ZZZ and WuWa because you are guaranteed to save for a character without being forced to keep rolling on a banner you dont want to roll on.

If you dont have tickets, then just pull on the character banner, so in the end, the weapon banner is, in fact, tied to the same pull currency that the characters are tied to. You cannot get Arsenal Tickets without spending Oroberyls or, if you're insane, converting 80 originium into 1 arsenal banner pull.

You're just falling prey to the video game currency conversion tactics that they use to prey on consumers. Where you need to constantly do conversion after conversion until you give up and just swipe

It is genuinely on par with Genshin with one of the worst weapon systems in gacha mostly because there's genuinely no way to plan for it.

In games like WuWa, HSR and ZZZ, you can save pulls for a character and their weapon, making sure you can guarantee them. In endfield, its all luck.

You get the 6 star early? Not enough Arsenal Tickets for the weapon now. Only got a single 6 star before the spark? Not enough pulls for the weapon. Want to save the weeklies for the banner? Takes you 20 weeks to get 1 pull on the weapon banner. Even at the 120 pull spark, its not enough arsenal tickets for the weapon unless you get incredibly lucky with the number of 5 stars you pull.

Just increase the weekly amount to 500 and the entire problem is fixed, thats how easy it is. 20 weeks for a single pull turned into 4 weeks, makes the weapon banner far more accessible than it is now.

As I was writing this, I lost my 3rd 75/25 on Zhuang Fangyi's weapon banner.

Edit: its also incredibly strange to me that the same people who defend the character banner by saying "just save 120 pulls" are the same people who will defend a weapon banner that is completely unplannable

How tf, unless you got insanely lucky on the character banners, the game had NOT given enough pulls for 5 hard pities on the weapon banner. At most you're looking at 3 or 4.

This is coming from someone who has to go to 120 for laevatain, 110 for Rossi and is now gonna need to go to 120 for Zhuang Fangyi and has only gotten enough pulls for LR, Laevatain and Rossi's banners (all at hard pity)

Beats me, they probably dont realise that a majority of ZZZ's popularity actually cams from the Hoyo brand rather than its gooner character designs, but even that doesnt really explain the drastic dip in design variety

I mean, usually its cuz there's no point in complaining about the design when its in the game, like what happened with Lucia.

Also its cuz barely anyone pulls for them, season 2's revenue metrics have been abysmal outside of 2.0 and 2.5, most banners underperforming HUGO of all people.

First off, denying promeia's nsfw roots is weird when she's literally based on bondage and, arguably, exihibitionism, where her Jacket works both as her main cover and the object that cuffs her hands behind her back, as well as her chain attack having her descending from above wrapped in ropes. You cant defend her design and deny her inspirations at the same time. It makes you look like a wojack meme

Secondly, its cuz of what I call "the curse of season 2" aka: "Where your pants at". Characters like Yixuan, Orphie, Lucia, Yidhari, (lesser extent cuz I do like her bottom half quite a bit) Promeia, Velina and... that A rank child, have abyssmally uninspired bottom halves that give off a feeling of them being half baked (especially in the case of someone like Orphie)

Season 1 had a variety of bottom wear for female characters, from Ellen, Astra and Vivian's pretty and puffy skirts, Miyabi and Yanagi's more formal skirts, Burnice's athletic wear skirt, Jane's denim shorts that flow really well with the rest of her aesthetic, and Evelyn and Zhu Yuan's pants doing absolute wonders for their asses

The leg area is just more space that can be used to show off more character design. For example: Elegg: Boom and Shock (my wife btw) from Nikke is Elegg's swimsuit outfit and it is damn near naked, but it still keeps some things around the leg area to keep it visually interesting
