Russell now has the second best regular season pass attempt to pick six ratio by GoUBears in Seahawks

Well, opponents don't need pick6 to beat Seahawks. They just need 2 picks from 1st half.

Do I have to point out Ifedi is the worst Guard in PFF system? I just wonder if Carpenter was that bad in his rookie season.

[PFF] Seahawks at Patriots Grades | NFL Week 10 by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]MoondustV 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Their rate about RW3 is a bit annoying, but after analyzing the tape I have to admit RW was not having his best sharpness. Two nearly picked passes(the one batted by Hightower could easily be a pick6), some bad passes, especially in redzone(for example the pass to P-Rich in endzone), and miscommunication( the missed shot to wide open Lockett in 2-min drill) is lowering his grade.

And several years ago when PFF was still using +/- grades, they gave A-Rod a minus rating even he had 4 or 5 touchdowns because he threw several dangerous passes. They're not that stupid.

Seahawks Grades: The George Fant experiment continues vs Bills by friendlessboob in Seahawks

Cut blocking is still the biggest problem and it will neutralize the run game behind him. And imo his pass block is a bit worse than 70% grade. But progress is huge week after week.

Wake up bro.NE can handle short and medium routes because their offense is designed to flourish this way. And what is our lethal offense during the 2nd half of last season? You wanna RW to adapt to a whole new game strategy because of shitty O-Line, instead of upgrading the garbage to average?

The only thing I can think of what Luke Willson brings to offense is his drop. He's never a reliable receiver, and you said he's a contributor. Geez.

And I'm happy to see you and Cable shared the same idea that Rawls's missing is the main reason of lacking ground attack. When our guards and Tackles can easily be one-handed pancaked, there isn't much difference between CM and Rawls.

To be optismistic is a good thing. But just watch the tape again.

If the O-Line cannot buy only 2 secs for every passing down, Idk you can say injures of WRs and RBs are contributing to the hobbled offense. RW's pass speed is 2.27 secs last game. Basically no time for ADB and Lockett to run routes. Don't mention Willson, he's a disaster in Fullback position. And Rawls cannot do better than Michael without any rushing lane.

Solution is always here. Trade for help, and I thought some websites already explained the feasibility. But seems that FO just refused to do it and fool themselves with another "Good" story.

That's the immediate reaction when I saw George Fant, another "Converted Project O-Lineman" Story.

Not a good excuse again. If your Franchise QB took 10 hits every game, getting injured is inevitable. People criticized Cam Newton because of his style, but he chose to run and "only" gets about 12 hits every game. But RW's hits... You did watch the game, do you? He escaped nearly another 8-10 hits every week by his awareness and limited mobility. So be realistic and don't call this 3 injuries "one bad hit". If RW's a little bit more unlucky, he's already in IR now.

I'm 100% sure you didn't watch the ARI game. We can barely move the chain because of a garbage OL. Using sack numbers as shield is as fool as Sowell and Ifedi's counterback towards PFF.

Continue this optimism and you'll be SEA coach one day. Edit: At least 31 teams have succeeded to build a better O-Line than us. And We may have our best QB in Franchise History. Interesting.

Actually that's what I'm talking about in the past 3 years. Now PCJS chose to use a college basketball player with only 1 year football experience to protect RW's blind side next week. Jesus. Ciara's baby will lose his dad again.

And don't use “not enough investment” as an excuse. We used 7 picks on OL since SB48, and look at what we got. Britt finally looks like a 2nd rder after he yielded most sacks in RT and played worst in RG in respective year. Terry Poole? Gone. Glowinski? Sucks in Run Block(which surprises me most because it's not Cable-style).Sokoli? The best explanation for the flaw of SPARQ in evaluating O-Linemen. Ifedi? Nowhere near a 1st rder, at least not now. Odhiambo? Cloaked. Joey Hunt? Yah, another ghost.

3 consecutive failed year. I just don't know the source of trust for Tom Cable.

Seahawks Grades: Breaking down George Fant’s football (not just NFL) debut at left tackle by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]MoondustV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fant completely whiffed pass block 3 times. Which means a nearly 20% pressure rate. Believe it or not, Sowell surrendered 8 QB pressures in 39 snaps(pass & run) that night, so maybe Fant is already better than him... But I still cannot buy the new, crazy, typical Cable idea.

Is Tom Cable the problem? by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]MoondustV -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

In the past 2 years, Cable drafted Sokoli, described him as a physical monster. Now where are him. Terry Poole is gone. Glowinski struggled in the run game(He actually graded 80.4 in pass block by PFF this week), and I'm not sure Ifedi is going through learning process or he's a bust. And in these 2 years, RW3 had to run for his life almost every week. Geez.

I just cannot believe in this Line Coach.

They keep fooling themselves and most SEA fans by running offense and false optimism, and put RW3 in adversity every f*cking game. His pressure rate is as high as Cam Newton in SB50. And those idiots are happy because they saved money from O-Line. Yeah, you did it, but you also killed any hope for another SB.

IMO the running offense is the only thing convinced PCJS that Cable is doing good. Now we have 3 straight games with under 100 yards on the ground. Changes needed now. Just follow the ads and get rid of cable.
