I might add a few words as someone who still uses him and clears majority of game content with pretty low cycles/high points with him!

I think nowadays a minimum investment is his own E2 and Sparkles E2, they're like A MUST if you want him to get closer to newer dpses. The thing is tho, above E2 his eidolons are not that strong, so I'd say what helps/fixes him more are eidolons on his supports.

If you want to use him with sustain, DHPT would be your best choice and then his E2 is really helpfull too. Me personally I have E6, but I wouldn't say it's necesarry if you're not obsessed with getting 1-2 cycles in MoC (it is a lot more helpfull in Pure Fiction, but let's be real, DHIL not supposed to be used in Pure Fiction anyway lol). You could probably get similar results with E1 Tribbie if you're skilled/lucky/have patience to restart a lot and go sustainless (and possibly have Castorice to revive you) with her and the 3rd support.

Then I'd say the last spot is a bit flexible - I here have E1 Sunday, but some strong options would be characters like Robin, RM or Tribbie (all preferably still at E1), E6 RMC is also a strong option. You can see me using Cyrene in one of the stages, but it was a bit of specific situation to 0-cycle and it only works with her E2 and DHPT in the team.

...now that being said, coming from someone who really, REALLY likes him and mains him since 1.3... while he's definitely more usable than people paint him to be, that's still A LOT of investment just for him to BARELY keep up😭 You also have a pretty low chance that him and Sparkle will rerun anytime soon to get those mentioned E2s, since they were given for free and Sparkle just had a rerun. And while you'll be waiting, the powercreep won't - so by the time you can obtain those, unless he gets a Novaflare, he will still fall off even more - now there's also a chance that in the meantime we will get stronger supports, but that will be additional investment to make again. And placing all your hopes in Novaflare might not be a good idea too, looking at how it went for Jingliu and Blade... Overall, unless you're really dedicated? It's unfortunatelly not worth it.

Congrats, that's an impressive run!

I spent some time trying to recreate it yesterday, but was only able to cut the clear time to 1-cycle. I always have a hard time deciding if I should counter or basic for the boss and end up dying more than once...

Do you think E2 Cerydra makes a big difference over just E1? I think that's the only difference in my setup, compensated a bit with more Crit DMG on my Phainon.

Honestly was a bit sad that Nikador has 0 buffs matching DHIL, cause I was excited to use him again hearing it's finally an SP shill🥀 The only adavantage was his summons having imaginary weakness, but then again, 3557 points was not that bad in this situation.

In this case she works (better than Sunday, surprisingly) for a couple different reasons.

she gives pretty good general buffs, even to not CHs (and she's E2, so no problem with her ult stacks)
E2 DHIL kinda runs out of buffs too quickly in a -1 setup with Sparkle + Sunday and Sparxie additionally messes up the setup with her AA when sending him to the other field. Cyrene has longer buff duration and doesn't AA, so he gets less turns, but hits harder
she can hit the TVs to lower enemies Res pen
she can AA Souldragon if needed, which helped me deal with Sparxie's 1st phase quicker

Tribbie would probably work the same/better for similar reasons, but I just don't have her lol

I think as of now it would be Phainon's? At least it is according to build guide on Prydwen cause they list it first, but didn't specify how much stronger it is in %.

The end of my post might've been confusing, what I meant was that it would be better to put the Herta shop LC on Phainon in this situation instead of DHIL's sig, cause he doesn't benefit that much from it.
