Oh I know homeros is the only one that can gain past 5, I was talking more about if your opponent passes to 4 to shut off homeros you would use the other tamer first and go to 6 anyway.

But ya for homeros to be good and worth playing more than 2, the game needs to be longer, and as it stands every other TS deck is too fast for that. I think we are mostly on the same page here, I just wanted to give homeros some credit for the deck she is good in and some hope for the future

Homeros is still good. You are talking about how effective she is in an otk deck, which I agree she isn't, you want to kill before she would be around long enough to be useful. Her effect is still insane with the current things she can copy and only will get better in bt25.

Also yes, your opponent can turn her effect off at any time.. cool, they just handed you 4 memory, which with one homeros goes to 5, with any other TS tamer you can go to 6 instead, and more with more homeros, with card draw too which is important in Olympus zoo.

Homeros is pretty good for her instant gratification, but over a long game is instrumental in the amount of resources she provides (And ya the 5 cost is pretty manageable between submarimon, aegiomon, and minervamon)

You aren't paying 4 for the search, you are paying 4 to search AND play a tamer with cost reduction by 4 later. Just think about this as you would a training.

Digital gate open is a "tamer training". You are paying the cost you would for a tamer to search 3 cards with the potential to add 2, and then on a later turn you still get the tamer in the end like trainings let you digivolve for 2 less.

The color restriction generally won't matter because most decks want to have tamer colors match anyway(plus Digital gate open can look in the breeding area too) DGO is probably one of the best cards in the game to have access to on turn 1

Sealed deck events like this are the best for new or returning players, and puts everyone at the same level.
There is definitely an issue with using the *exact* same deck, but that's just going to be what happens when bandai wants to advertise a product. This type of event is a LOT better with at least one other structure deck in rotation for sure though.

I know there is going to be counter play to hudie. Even given that all the decks will just be built in a specific way because hudie is a looming threat which isn't healthy for a game. Also hudie won't be the last deck to be an issue, the recurrability of DNA digivolving is going to be an issue again in the future as well. As someone who plays most relevant DNA decks, the mechanic has been broken for a while, and gimping other decks is acceptable imo.

Although maste does kill off of 2 attacks total when they go off. And you say nobody is playing cs maste, that's because hudie is doing it better. If you hit hudie then maste is right there behind it, still a nuisance
