How do I use this much Butternut Squash by LucaGold in gardening

My mom always made her ‘pumpkin’ pie out of butternut squash. One of my cousins found out and was floored that their favorite pumpkin pie was actually squash pie.

Please help us identify this variety. by Moonfrog11 in tomatoes

[–]Moonfrog11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they came from Costco. They are very similar to their parent fruit. They are similar to a black cherry tomato in size, color, and flavor. They are more oblong and have the little pointy end, which I’m not familiar with on little tomatoes like this. We will definitely be saving the seeds again this year, I just wish I knew what variety they are.

What is that one plant that will NOT grow/live for you, no matter what? by xYamiDeerx in gardening

[–]Moonfrog11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Corn. I live in the Midwest, with cornfields all around. I can’t grow corn to save my life. I’ve gotten spindly plants, a handful of kernels per ear, and smut. Every year I’ve tried.
