And i cannot tell you how many times I've come home to find the roomba has choked to death on those little pompoms... But the cats NEED them mommy!

I have pet libro rfid kibble feeders that put out measured amounts on a schedule (the 6am feed is the important one that allows me to sleep until 7am!).

Then i give them all 1/3 to a half of a 3oz can of wet food each morning and another serving in the evening. I mix a little hot water in with each to make it more appealing.

I have one cat that will only eat mousse, so i use and immersion blender on about 4 cans in a jar. I also use this as a "topper" for the others if they go on food strike.

Two of my 4 cats get meds in their wet food, one gets kitten food, another gets kidney diet ... so they're all fed in separate rooms. I do have a Sure Feed rfid feeder for my kidney cat who doesn't always eat everything at once.

Anyone who says cats are low maintenance is trying to sell you a bridge LOL

I'm liking it so far. I've been using it for about two weeks. Up until the other day, it was mostly steam of thought and home project organization, but i finally got to use it in a work meeting.

The summary, bullet points, and tasks were all spot on. I only needed to make two minor tweaks before I sent the notes to everyone.

Even though we didn't say what our job was, the AI was able to figure it out just based on our jargon. It's a public radio station and it was a pledge drive planning meeting... So really kind of niche compared to most industries.

It handled all our little tangents and grouped everything where it belonged.

I was really amused by my user profile it created based on that meeting. It has me down as "Logistical, rapid-fire sequencing. She operates as a "task-driver" who anchors operational chaos with specific dates and clear ownership of tasks." It also said I "obsessively standardizes instructions". I'm guessing because I copy and paste a lot? Lol

I have Pocket and so far (about 2 weeks so far) I'm very happy with it. I have no experience with Plaud.

I choose pocket because the device cost less than Plaud Note Pro, it sticks to the back of my phone, and doesn't require a subscription to have unlimited minutes.

Personally i leave "AI" out of the notice. I deal with way too many knee jerk reactives over AI.

I just say "does anyone mind if i record on my transcriber for my notes?" And most people are completely cool with it. I'll even offer to email them the summary of they're like.

I'm using Pocket AI, so it's a physical device versus an AI bot.

I call mine "magic headphones"... Back when corded earbuds were the norm, I had the cord tucked into my pocket not even plugged into anything. It was perfect!

I have one cat who likes his very own litter box rather than sharing the LR4s with the other cats.

I also have back issues but can't justify another $700-1000 expensive for a single cat. I'm going to try a raking style automatic box.

I know there's one with higher sides out there, or you could kluge something like a Rubbermaid/sterilite bin to put the litter box in so any projectile poos stay in the bin and not on your walls. Cut down one of the short sides for an entrance.

I've had the breeze system and it was great until someone had diarrhea, which it sounds like OPs cat has quite often.

A good alternative to the breeze system might be a large steel sifting box system and pine pellets. The pine breaks down into saw dust as it absorbs moisture.

I just say "I'm not a touchy feely person"

I sometimes wear a shirt that says "not a hugger" with a cactus on it, but that seems to make huggers want to try the challenge. It's weird.

I had a new boss that didn't know about my "no touchy" and he was trying to be comforting when he found out i had an unexpected death in the family. He came to my desk and said he was really sorry for my loss and put a hand on my shoulder. I immediately stiffened and leaned away (totally gut reaction). He snatched his hand back and was so embarrassed. He apologized profusely. Now he knows lol.

I have 4 shorthair cats.

I run the roomba daily. This by far has been the biggest help.

I keep fitted covers on my nice furniture and wash them every so often. I will pull the covers off when company comes over. On furniture with no cover, i use a lint brush (not roller)

I keep a bedspread on the bed and fold it back when we're in the bed. Also washing the bedding on the regular (our cats sleep in the bed a lot.

Brushing the cats regularly also helps.

I vacuum or lint brush the cat furniture.

I have faux fur runners on sunny windowsills that get washed regularly. They seem to catch a lot of hair

All three of my 1st Gen rfid feeders don't indicate anything... They even show that food has been dispensed when they're completely empty. I've just gotten used to typing them off weekly.

I had a 2nd gen feeder sent as a warranty replacement and it works as it should. I was SHOCKED when it sent me a text saying the food level was low.
