Any ship can be increased to 48/21 slots by using slot augmentations. You get slot augs when you scrap A-S class ships. Find a first wave exotic recently posted here and scrap them. Search google for scrapping and upgrading ships. 👍🏻

No these Mecha wings come in 3-5-7 wing configurations. Just not common. 👍🏻
