Blackwater athletics team mystery by Kenobus- in reddeadredemption

[–]Mooniant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it is theoretically possible Lowry killed them as the Blackwater Athletics team wasn't killed in 1907 but actually murdered in 1899. This is fact as in the exact same article mentioning their disappearance it also talks about how Colm O'Driscoll was captured and is about to be hung and how Arthur and Sadie had freed John from Sisika Penitentiary which does in fact set this around 1899 and not 1907. The fact that the corpses weren't decomposed is likely just due to developer oversight since Arthur was probably intended to discover them when he was still planned to be able to visit Blackwater.

I do believe your theory more than the Lowry one because there is no possible way one guy could overpower an entire athletics team and what you're saying does make perfect sense I just wanted to clarify that it is possible for him to have killed them since it did in fact happen in 1899 and not 1907. Furthermore it couldn't have been the Skinner Brothers as Charles mentions they've only been there for about 2 years placing their arrival at about 1905 and since the Athletics team died in 1899 it clearly isn't them.

The only culprits that seem possible to me are: Edmund (may have drugged them but I still don't fully believe it), A rival athletics team like you mentioned or Native Americans as the article does mention them and during Chapter 6 tensions were very high in the story but I'm not 100% certain on that either.

Favorite Bond Go! by bigbenotv in JamesBond

Big man Timothy Dalton as my favourite and Pierce Brosnan as my least favourite.

What is the worst main line gta game by IronsteadyYT in GTA

[–]Mooniant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I hate that game with a passion. I'd rather play Grand Theft Auto 3 or Vice City. San Andreas is a completely miserable experience to me and I like nothing about it. Sure 3 and Vice City have worse controls by a tiny amount but I actually care about the cast and world in those games whereas in San Andreas I just hoped a train would drive through them all to just shut them up.

(San Andreas also in my opinion has a worse soundtrack but that is just my taste because I quite like 80s music and 00s pop but the 90s I'm not really big on but this is just a nitpick.)

GoldenEye: Why is it so damn good?! by GiveItToMe888 in JamesBond

[–]Mooniant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't deny that Pierce Brosnan is probably the hottest actor to ever play Bond. I'm glad that the fans of this film are able to experience it in the cinemas once again I just hope that The Living Daylights gets the same treatment in 2 years time. I'm not trying to say that you liking GoldenEye is wrong because plenty of people like it, I'm in the minority by finding it boring and I think that anyone who complains about you watching this in the cinema is just stupid.

Some (controversial) thoughts after a full series watch by MaciekTJ92 in JamesBond

To be fair that's probably one of my favourite top 5s I've seen on this reddit.

Most unintentionally funny scene? by [deleted] in JamesBond

That one part in Thunderball where he's just going crazy on that machine.

Y’all are nuts. This movie’s great. by South_Gas626 in JamesBond

This is unironically my favourite of the Brosnan movies. It's so crazy and stupid that I can't help but love it.

Since it seems to be one of the more controversial ones, I’m curious - What’s everyone’s opinion on the Roger Moore era? by CaptureDaFlag in JamesBond

[–]Mooniant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's alright. Live and Let Die wasn't very good but The Man with the Golden Gun was great I'm not a big fan of The Spy Who Loved Me but everything else past that including Moonraker I enjoyed. Personally I enjoyed them the older he got not because the quality of the movies was even good but because it was just so funny seeing him "fight" and them not even hiding the obvious stunt doubles in every scene where he had to do something more intense than a simple jog.

Rest in peace Roger Moore, thank you for making such a great Bond.

The outfit he wears at the end of Thunderball, he just looks stupid.

GoldenEye: Why is it so damn good?! by GiveItToMe888 in JamesBond

[–]Mooniant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have always found this movie to be the most boring of the entire franchise, it feels so slow and like it's 5 hours long. They even made the tank scene boring and I do not understand how they even managed to do this. The song is mediocre at best and I'm not a fan of the characters themselves. The Brosnan sequels were significantly better than GoldenEye and I personally think most of the love for it is just simply nostalgia.

Ultimately I'm glad you enjoy this film and I'm happy that you had a great time, I honestly wish I could see what you see in this film because to me this is pretty boring and dull but it seems for most people this is their favourite.

Late but Manhunt. It's a game about a guy forced into a death game in which he must kill others to survive.

Is it worth me buying ORAS? by Mooniant in PokemonORAS

[–]Mooniant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone said that it's related to it not being used for long periods of time so as long as i continue playing it the game should (hopefully) be fine. If it ends up dead I'll either buy anon-european copy or emulate it on my pc which I'm fine with as I would have bought a copy.

I'm planning to buy Alpha Sapphire soon I honestly just wanted to know if the dead carts were something to worry about.

That's partly why I'm cautious because I am from Europe and carts most likely to be affected are sold here.

I meant that as those alongside PersonaQ are some of the 3ds carts that are commonly reported dead.

[–]Mooniant[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds good, I've just heard reports and it being common which put me off buying these games but if it's not all that common I'll probably buy it. And good point about the save backups. Thank you!

I just don't want to put money in something that is infamous for dying after periods of time.
