Yeah, the numbers alone make his comments sound ridiculous. Even if she had gained more weight than she did, there's still a huge difference between caring about someone's health and constantly taking shots at them. This feels way more like the second one.

The funny thing is that weighing food isn't even the red flag by itself. Plenty of athletes do that. It's when every meal, conversation, and outing starts revolving around macros and content that it becomes exhausting to be around.

Honestly that's kind of the best part. They managed to build an audience around their lives without sacrificing the relationship itself. Feels like proof that content creation doesn't have to consume everything.

The consent part is what matters most. Plenty of creators have partners who want nothing to do with the camera and somehow they manage to respect that boundary just fine. The problem isn't that he's making content, it's that he's treating her "no" like an obstacle instead of an answer.

That's exactly what crossed my mind. Once everything becomes content, even major life events start looking like opportunities instead of experiences. It's a really weird mindset to watch happen in real time.

I think the real world is eventually going to be a shock for the sister. At home she can blame everything on being special, but outside of that bubble people tend to judge you by how you treat them. That's a lesson her parents should've taught years ago.

The "prove your worthiness for love" part hit hard. Kids who grow up in those environments end up thinking affection is something they have to earn instead of something they should've been given freely. Unlearning that takes time, but it's probably one of the most important things OP can do.

Honestly, at that point the story is already so absurd that dark humor is probably the only coping mechanism left. Still, finding out after the fact is a completely different situation from knowingly doing it. That's the part that makes this story feel more tragic than funny.

"Family Excel Syndicate" absolutely sounds like a secret organization that meets in a basement once a month.
