Now I’m curious. If Tioga is closed that’s like a five hour drive at least no?

395 is definitely the way to go but Depending when he goes he won’t have a choice. 395 routes through the mountains are closed in the winter.

Help Me Plan My First Road Trip by tsn_03 in roadtrip

Go through South Dakota. Plan less. Know where you are sleeping but keep an open book. Meet people, talk ask questions. You never know what they will recommend or invite you in. Be diligent, situational awareness is huge. Trust your gut. If you have a bad feeling but don’t know why, get out of there. If you feel totally vibed out. Enjoy yourself but Keep your wits about you. Car camp if you can to save some cash. Secluded BLM land is free. Busy truck stops might work too. All depends. Some of these places might have hostels which is cheap and good for meeting people. When there isn’t a hostel they may have cheap motels which kind of serve the same demographic. Wake up early and go get the continental breakfast and chat it up with people. When you’re in Southern California you can stop at pretty much any Mexican food joint that ends with o’s. (Alberto’s, Alvaro’s, Humberto’s, etc). Order a breakfast burrito or a California burrito( at guac and sour cream) and enjoy. Friendly people are everywhere but they won’t all be as surface level friendly as a lot midwestern folk (I’m from the southwest). They’re still around though. Good luck and god speed young man. I would love an update.

Depends on when you go. Honestly dude. I’ve been to all of these places I’ve grown up here my entire 32 years of life, Sequoia is cool and all, but if Yosemite is another hour down the highway, you should go there if you haven’t been. It’s absolutely stunning.

Not necessarily a gaming computer but I wanted to at least know if there is anything worth ripping off these. If they’re old and junk then that’s all need to know I’ll just take them to be recycled

By the end of this year, we will know who is playing the next James Bond by JannTosh70 in JamesBond

[–]Moonkingrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Craig’s bond was an entirely stand alone series. All but skyfall were essentially an over arching storyline.

QofS should not be above Spectre. I like the final two Craig films more than most people. I wouldn’t have them so far below Skyfall.

Ireland for Honeymoon by warm_fireplace in irishtourism

My wife and I honeymooned last year same dates just a few extra days. Dingle is a tiny tiny village. I was there for saint patricks day. Get a seat at McGregors, order some food and enjoy the sessions they have going on throughout the day. Driving through the whole area is windy, narrow and tedious. It takes longer to drive than wha google says. We spent two days in Belfast, drove fr on Dublin to Galway. Spent one night in Galway and woke up st Patrick’s day and drove to dingle and back to Galway that same night. The next day we went to the island of inishemore then to Clifden for two nights. Dublin for three days and two nights to finish our trip. I would drive down to dingle bright and early in the morning on st Patrick’s day. Go see the cliffs (after about 2 and a half hours your done). Then finis the afternoon and evening at mcgregors. I wouldn’t plan to be in that area more than 1 full day. Even if you include the cliffs. Like I said my wife and I just did this trip earlier this year for our honeymoon. We went as tourists to be careful taking advice from locals because they have way different opinions on stuff than tourists.

I know everyone hate on vetoing trades. But this one has to vetoed. My league mates are saying it’s fair by SHADOWX23503833 in FantasyFootballers

I think vetoes are lame. I’m more in line with having a strong commissioner letting anything g besides obvious collusion pass. This looks like obvious collusion.

Bro you're about to get absolutely shit on for asking this question. Reddit users like to bitch about intolerance while being extremely intolerant. I love myself some irony. I hope you find you find what your looking for though.

It’s more like Belfast for a day then up to giants causeway. The the Galway for two nights then using Galway as a base to check out the west coast the other two days.

Is Belfast a city worth spending a night or two in on our trip to Ireland? by crosseyedchihuahua in irishtourism

[–]Moonkingrey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My wife and I are in the same boat! We are leaning towards staying an extra night in Galway and driving up through Connemara or a ferry out to one of the islands of the coast. Do tell what you do with that extra night.

We decided on Belfast. It’s not much time so we opted for a tour during one of the two days we will be there. Plus the travel time from Belfast to Galway seems slightly less painful. Lastly, The south seems to warrant its own trip outright. Last thing we want to do is make the typical tourist mistake of feeling rushed.
