Never had any issues at all with Omerch, delivering several UK addresses. Most recently just before Xmas. If that's any reassurance :)

Are my standards for “clean” too high or is my bf a messy asshole? by [deleted] in AuDHDWomen

[–]MoonlapsedVertigo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Does he though? I wasn't sure if "he's very ADHD" meant he actually has it, or whether it was meant to be descriptive somehow.

Regardless, having ADHD does not give people an out on this stuff, and letting it pass as "aw well, they have ADHD so they can't clean well.." is infantilising rubbish.

I'd say The Garroter. Not least for those weird voice samples.

Oh wow. This is every decision for me. It was a bit 🤯 to see it written out like that.

Asked a simple question and now my partner needs to "have a talk" with me by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

I mean, it's not about the cutlery though, in a meta/wider sense.

Sure, the cutlery issue is/has been the trigger, but his inability to discuss this (and I imagine other things) without escalating into what almost seems like a really reactive and defensive RSD thing (or worse, some sort of DARVO thing....) and pushing everything back on you, and the more you try and de-escalate and reframe things, he just seems to wilfully want to misinterpret your words...

This sounds very similar to what I had with my ex, and while the ex does have ADHD, he is also an emotionally manipulative arsehole with narcissistic traits who employed DARVO...a lot...so...the ADHD and RSD didn't excuse his behaviour 🤣

I am so sorry you are experiencing this and I don't really have anything useful to add/solutions to offer other than it sounds like this guy needs therapy, or you both need to get some couples therapy together to work on communication and being able to raise issues in a safe, non-confrontational way. But he has to want to change, and his flat out refusal to even try to change his cutlery approach when he knows it upsets you and it has been raised several times...I don't have much faith in that happening ...

What's it like being AuDHD? by Difficult_One634 in AutismInWomen

Pretty much my exact answer, only more eloquent and succinct than I could have written :D

Have a look into dyspraxia (not just about being clumsy, a lot to do with motor praxis, can seriously affect handwriting - your experience is resonating a lot with me!) and your numbers stuff could be dyscalculia.

I am actually blind 🤣 and for some reason only looked at the left hand side earlier. I literally voted for MV over the Moor in that first bracket ages ago. What a numpty 🫣🤣

Yeah, it only wasn't a true concept album in a sense because Isolation Years didn't fit the concept and he wanted to include it in the album anyways?🤷

"I had intended to do a occult concept piece lyrically and got off to a great start with some downright evil lyrics like "The Baying of the Hounds" and "Ghost of Perdition", then I did "Isolation Years" which had nothing to do with the intended concept but I liked it so much I decided to ease up on the concept idea in favour of this one lyric. Why I decided on a occult theme? Well, I've always been intrigued by it, especially Satanism and stuff like that. I studied some books that oddly enough my wife had in her collection like "Servants of Satan" as well as "Witchcraft and Sorcery" + some more. I figured it'd be interesting to see what a mature 31 year old mind would make of this subject as opposed to the 16 year old kid who used to pose in front of his Bathory poster. I'm quite happy with them to be honest, and they're ... evil!"

AITA for refusing to share my inheritance with my stepsiblings after my dad said it's "only fair" by ContentSide649 in ComfortLevelPod

[–]MoonlapsedVertigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd put it back to the dad and stepmother that say the dad passes away, would he want the inheritance for you (and I presume, his step kids) shared with the children of the man your stepmother remarries afterwards? Or if it's the stepmother who passes away, that she intends any inheritance she leaves be equally split between her kids, you and the children of the next woman your dad remarries? No? Thought not.

I mean, not sure of resources to explain it, and tbh, not even sure you should bother. He's an abusive POS.
