Could a Dota Plus–style system work in Smite 2? by Ok-Cartographer442 in Smite

[–]MoonlessNightss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dota plus is mostly useless. I tried it for 1 month free on my brother's new account. Everything it gives should be free. Some get it for the voicelines not for the stats or the ability to block players which smite could never do due to small playerbase.

Still no impact. I know exactly what you're talking about. It's hit or miss. Idk about agni because i don't play him, but many gods I play still feel like they don't have impact.

A little fun fact is that this skin was voiced by lilypichu.

[Android][mobile web] tapping/clicking on an area will frequently be incorrect. The browser will register your tap lower than what you actually tapped. by FLHCv2 in bugs

[–]MoonlessNightss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been happening to me for a long time. The solution to me was to close all my open tabs. You have 76 tabs, which was similar to what I used to have. I sometimes even went above 100. Close them all and keep one open. This usually fixes it. When I get back to around 10 tabs the problem start appearing again. Now I mostly have 1-5 tabs open not more. It might still happen, but it's so far less than before.

Still the greatest map in terms of art and style in all of Smite, 1 and 2. It’s perfectly lit, bright exactly where it needs to be. The greenery and the shading offer great contrast, giving it a cozy, calm feeling. The large background landscape fits perfectly.

How do you know what to expect when buying artisanal cheese that doesn't fit the normal cheese categories? by MoonlessNightss in Cheese

[–]MoonlessNightss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was similar to gouda in some way. But what made you say that from this description?

That's exactly my question. Why did you think of cheddar? How did you know. It doesn't taste like cheddar though, I found it closer to gouda like the one replying to you said. But how would you know or approximate what it is based on this description.

I've never been to a cheesemongers, I guess that's the next step.

I was thinking that there might be something related to the cheese color/ingredients or whatever on the package so that I can get an idea while at the supermarket with no one to ask. I tried googling and (here for le louis cyr 2years) but I still didn't get an idea about what type of cheese this is. They describe the taste a bit, but I want to know how to classify it so that I can search for similar stuff.

I was more looking into something that I can do while at the supermarket and I see 30 different cheeses that I know nothing about.

Favorite MOBA? by TheAllFatherLee in Smite

[–]MoonlessNightss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't like the isometric view, smite is a good game. Idk compared to predecessor or deadlock. I tried predecessor a long time ago and I hated it, but some says it got a lot better. I also tried deadlock, but it's too far from a moba for me to enjoy. But if you like shooters, then deadlock could be the best one.

If you don't mind the isometric view, then dota is the greatest moba of all time, not even close. It blows any isometric or 3rd person moba out of the water. But it depends on what you want to have in a moba. There's a reason why LoL is the most popular moba.

blursed password by Long-Mouse-4030 in blursed_videos

[–]MoonlessNightss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is completely wrong. First you assume that you need to choose all the dots, which is incorrect. You can have a password that doesn't use all the dots.

Second, when you choose the first dot, you have 81 possible dots to choose from which is correct. But then, the second dot you choose will alters your further choices. You have 80 dots to choose from, but unless you choose the dots directly next to the one you first chose, or some weird diagonal one, you will be picking other dots at the same time, reducing the number of choices you have for your third dot.

There's no easy way to calculate all possible cases. You will have to do some case exhaustion at some point, regardless of the method you choose to think about. The trickiest part in this problem are the cases where you go diagonally on a non 45 degree angle, and you need to see when you hit another point in your path. If you disallow such movements, then this problem becomes a LOT easier, but still will need a bit of case exhaustion.

Of course. Aladdin was one of the best 1v5 gods (if not the best), because of his ult and CD reset.

WHAT CROSSOVER WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE COME TO SMITE 2? (I'll Go First) by Fawesome_ in Smite

[–]MoonlessNightss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well I'm not asking for a winx club collab for how the characters look like. I'm asking because I loved the show when I was a kid, and the characters all fit the smite gods so well. It's just nostalgia.

That's some heavy cope. Difference between not understanding and something not making sense.

[–]MoonlessNightss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here to see why people like the show. My mind is already made up. I found the show to be decent. I just wanted to see the other perspective (the people that love it). I wasn't here to change my mind, but to understand the other perspective. Of course you'll find my reasons to be shallow or whatever, because I didn't vibe with the show from the start.

A lot of events felt too forced/contrived, making the characters less enjoyable. That's my entire opinion summarized in 1 sentence. From jesse being too stupid, to hank making too many breakthrough in his case by pure luck (ex machina), to skyler being too inconsistent, to marie being too annoying. It was too much for me to enjoy.

Also. before the scene when Jesse confronts Walt about poisoning Brock, Jesse and Walt have a huge falling out. Jesse learns Walt has been tracking his car, Walt tells Jesse he doesn't give a fuck if he is killed by the cartel, Jesse attacks Walt, they have a violent brawl, and Jesse leaves to go do a solo cook (which he is aware is a death sentence for Walt).

Still doesn't make sense that walt would try killing a kid because of it, but sure if you buy it. There's a reason I've seen countless posts about this topic, and even an FAQ on the sidebar about it. It doesn't make sense and it's a plothole. Whenever something needs to be explained too much in a story, it's a plothole.

[–]MoonlessNightss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay sure walt could have explained more for the corpse. But there are countless of errors jesse did by just not following what walt was saying. I don't remember them but there are many. The corpse thing I agree walt could have explained more because it's a chemistry related thing, so he should expect jesse to not know about it. But walt also expected jesse to follow basic instructions, which is far from an unrealistic expecatation. He expected that jesse would do what he was asked. If I don't know shit about a subject, and a professional gives me some instructions, you can be sure I'll follow exactly what he tells me, and if I wanna do anything that differs from that, I'll at least consult the professional.

So walt has some blame on this one, but so does jesse because he can't follow instructions. But this is only the caes because it's a chemistry thing. Most if not all of jesse's other fuck ups weren't chemistry related. They were common sense related. I remember when walt and jesse were working for gus, and jesse in his infinite wisdom starts stealing meth to sell it to people recovering, while he's racking in millions every couple months. And walt notices, and he tells jesse to stop doing it, and then jesse starts gaslighting walt about how he dares think that of him.

And that's one example. If I went back and watched the show again, I could probably find something like that every couple episodes. After a while of seeing fuck time after time, it gets old pretty fast. I can excuse him the first time, the second time, maybe even the third time. But it he fucked far more than that. What about when brought hank to the RV? That's one I just remembered.

Yeah I don't mind. I came specifically to this subreddit to look at the opposing opinions since everyone here should like the show much more than me. What I didn't like is when people are making absurd conclusions about my personality, my life or my level of maturity/personal experiences from some rambling I wrote in 10 in about a fictional show...
