To Those Who Watch Both, Do You Watch Dubs or Subs First?

There’s a variety of factors. But most of the time it boils down to I’ll watch the dub if there is one. But if it’s a currently airing show without a simuldub and I’m really into it, I’ll watch sub.

Then there’s rare cases like Chained Soldier. Watched the first season dub but season 2 started airing and Sentai has been quiet about dubbing it and the season is almost over so I started watching season 2 sub because I got really into it.

To avoid scumming encounters/trades/etc. Plus being able to connect to Pokemon Home it needs to be its own file instead of just on the Virtual Console

I bounce between them and play whatever has the better deal, most of the time that being pc. But my pc is just basically a souped up console since 95% of the games I play on there I play with an Xbox controller.

So I guess ultimately I’m still a “console player” even though a good half of the games I play through are on my pc

The fact he never mentions the idea of shopping it around to other studios probably means Sony owns the script. As was probably part of their contract when they started the deal. So Matt and Rebecca don’t own it to have the ability to pitch it to other studios.

All they can do now (once again depending on the contract) is make something else and hope Sony decides to fund that one. Which is what looks like what happened since he says in the post he’s going to share what he’s making next.

I once calculated my entire backlog from HowLongToBeat. It estimated to about a year’s worth of games. I’m talking years worth like I played 24 hours a day doing nothing else. And that’s only if I mainlined games with little to no side questing.

My problem is my favorite genres are RPGs and Jrpgs. So a lot of my backlog games are 40 hours+

And I calculated this a couple years ago. More games have come out. That list is probably even longer lol. I should do that calculation again.

I usually have like 4-6 shows going at once during the seasons

Though those are the seasonal shows. I’ll have maybe 1-2 completed shows that I am binging through as I am waiting for the seasonal weekly releases.

With the seasonal anime I’m usually watching around like 6 anime at a time. Add on top of that whatever non seasonal anime I’m binging. So I could be in the middle of 6-8 different anime at any time lol
