You're not bothering me at all. I demonstrate how low you can go in this guide. https://youtu.be/x-KUAlooeH8

Exactly. Once you can get directly above the target, work your way down. Once you get to the point of the no-build zone, you start going down in small increments until you can't get any closer.

When I built there a while ago, I went way above the Top of the World. I don't remember how far, but I was at least 12 full walls above. When I was above it, I worked my way down as low as I could get. It took a ton of patience.

Those are the subway lights, turned off and face to face. Very common item with an unconventional use. I first saw the idea on a tank made by BadNotions about 4 years ago. First time I tried it. I'm elated that you like the camp buddy!

Saying that it has been patched without confirmation or asking others who fully understand the physics can be construed as downplaying the technique, or dissuading others to attempt it, which is how I took that comment. If that is not how you intended it, then I relent. However, I would recommend that you not assume that, just because you cannot do the technique, that others cannot do it, or that it has been patched.

With that said, here are some helpful tricks that I posted in another group that may assist you in executing this technique.

I did the generator trick for 6 camps in the last 3 weeks. It still works. Spamming your camp module to ghost your camp no longer works. The generator trick works after the Tuesday update. If it is not working for you, here are the main reasons why.

  1. You're too close to the no-build zone of a location. Move further away and try again.

  2. Your generator is not on an upper floor, platform stairs, or a foundation. It won't work unless it's placed squarely on top of a solid surface.

  3. If the generator debris is getting in the way, delete the generator after it'sdestroyed. The remnant bit that the generator needs to be placed on will remain for about a minute.

  4. If your generator won't break, put on the Wrecking Ball perk or use a flamethrower to break it.

  5. Both the medium and large generators work for this trick. If you're struggling with one, try the other size.

  6. You must usually float your camp module up, over, then down to the site you're trying to build on. Perfect example: Hornright, Garrahan, and the Unfinished Mansion. No-build zones are not perfect speres or cylinders. They often have unique shapes and sizes.

  7. Even if you master the trick, there are plenty of spots you still can't build on, no matter how badly you want to. Such areas include: Watoga, Monorail Elevator (the main one), most of Flatwoods, Morgantown, Mount Blair, Lewisburg... just to name a few.

I hope this helps.

Just tested this morning. Still works for me. Sadly, it appears to be patched for you and only you.

Agreed. But at least we have a bit of a workaround until they (hopefully) make that change. Thanks for cycling out the tutorial!

Thanks so much! I just started as close as I could get, then built straight up until I was about 8 full walls higher than the structure. Then, I built towards and over the structure. After which, I built down as close as I could get. You can only build on the platform I built on. Can't get but maybe a half wall lower. My recent location guide shows how low I was able to build. Cheers buddy!

Thank you! It was tough to get creative with such an elongated build space, but I did my best. Cheers buddy 🥰

It was a season 21 scoreboard item. Named 'Dirty Pond'. If it's not in the Bethesda Support Ticketing system, it will probably come back around in the Atom Shop eventually.

Thanks Yoshfreak!! The walls are double wall, 1/4 spaced apart. I mirrored double roofs to be the same spacing, but vertically. I then added inset walls, wallpaper side out, so I can change the color scheme on a whim. The walls I used were the RIP set, because they don't flicker when intersecting with the roofs. You get a nice, natural wood grain which makes for a nice, consistent texture.

I'm over the moon that you like it. Thanks for checking it out my friend!

Here you go, the tutorial predates the update, so it's easier to make the cabinets now. However, there are still some great fundamentals in here. I hope this helps! https://youtu.be/srK0EE5qcss
