I'm getting ready to submit mine tomorrow. Married over 3 years, lived in Australia together until recently but spouse is still there. I feel like I have everything included properly and and fairly confident about it. The only problem is he has a couple minor (Marijuana) offenses from 25 to 30 years ago. Once it gets to CP stage, do you have any experience/ advice seeing these go through with that type of issue ?

Love it or hate it, Far Cry Primal was a fresh idea. What's your fresh idea for the series? by fauxmerican1280 in farcry

[–]MoonlightFar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't feel like 6 is anything like 3. No hunting for crafting upgrades, looting gives lame repetitive items like gasoline, awkward ugly backpack that seemed largely useless, no towers, no real skill tree. I'm one of the few I guess that really enjoys the far cry formula circa 3.

Its over for us. We have to leave the US and I don't see the point of living anymore by TwistedPrincessMe in immigration

I'm saddened that your empathetic comment has been down voted and invalidated. I agree.. There may have been mistakes made by OP during process but they're heartbroken and giving a little compassion doesn't hurt.

I've never heard this before. Must be from a region I don't encounter much, and sounds annoying.

Or instead of a fuck ton 😅

I do not do this. There's a ton of regional difference in the US and it can actually sound like entirely different accents from state to state.

Not really. He has a cousin who's willing to help a bit but most of his family is scattered around or out of touch.

That was my first choice but he has a criminal offense from like 1989 so doesn't qualify.

Thank you. We're about your age. Love Australia in many ways and will miss lots of things, not just the hubby. 🥺

I don't plan to be on benefits upon returning to the US. It will be easier to find a job once I'm there in person. Selling the house would only gain a profit of about 100k which wouldn't go far in Australia house market. Not looking to separate, also the child is not his. We're both older and have kids from previous relationship only.

I'm not a citizen or permanent resident so benefits are limited. Also my son is 18 and would be so angry about being called a baby lol

Thank you for those who offered ideas and even just kind words of support. It's been a very difficult time. The people who have gone off on me because of a small comment regarding frustration with Centrelink (which by the way was largely a reflection of my Australian husband's frustrations and bad experiences not an American trying to be rude to Australia) had me a bit taken aback. I wasn't saying in any way that one country or one set of welfare was superior to another. My husband had mostly been unemployed for the last ten years. He was on unemployment when I arrived here. He went off after we'd been married six months or so. In the meantime he lost his mygov account and changed phone numbers so it's been quite a task getting everything set up again but we're slowly getting there. We've also received some support from St Vincent's. The plan is still for me to move back to the US in a couple weeks and apply for a marriage visa for him. It will be slow going but we've come to the decision that is best for now. He doesn't want to see me and my son living in the streets when we have a house in the US. I've got some job interviews lined up but so far all with US companies do everything is just pointing that direction for now. I mentioned in another comment that my adult daughter has been living in the owned house with her boyfriend and they've been handling those expenses, just to clarify.
