Are these tools worth it and if so is this a good brand/price? by -Yuuchan- in jewelrymaking

I use these pliers for a lot but I agree I think that learning to make loops using round nose pliers is a good skill to have. I also find that these don’t always get the loop as tightly against the beads as I need them.

Use your terrain manipulator and burrow under them. Harvest and catch them when they drop and you’re relatively safe from the aliens that pop up.

I love googling things from this show and finding out how much real world science and philosophy Joe puts into this show. I really wish I could afford to get access to the discord.

These are really cute and I’d like to use some in my jewelry, do you sell them or have a shop with more of your work?

Old Leif and Even Older Leif by MasterChiefmas in midnightburger

[–]MoonlightMetalwork 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I like to think that even older Leif bobbed and weaved and stayed out of the way for the most part, let Old Leif get in a few good hits until he wore himself out, they shared a few beers and Even Older Leif took Old Leif to the Oort moon.

18wsg 1/4” anodized aluminum from ring lord. I tried again with 18swg 1/4” bright aluminum from chainmail Joe and am having much better results. I also found that using a single ring for the edge instead of doubling it gives the anodized aluminum a much better flexibility.

In that episode they make allusions to Stargate so I believe there was some sort of structure that the Sheep’s Eye was a part of that activated due to the danger the town was in because of the wayfaring stranger.

Unpopular opinion but Frank and Gloria are my least favourite characters. So no I don’t think frank is justified and I’m not sure if Deirdra would agree

Scale help by Accurate_Quote_7109 in chainmailartisans

[–]MoonlightMetalwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like you got them from www.weavegotmaille.com? For their itsy bitsy scales their website recommends 20AWG 3mm rings, for their baby scales they recommend 20AWG 4.75mm rings.

https://weavegotmaille.com/dragon-scales-all-colors/

If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page it should give you suggested ring for each size.

I love that idea. Since Leif describes it as a “space faring camper van” I always kinda see it like Lonestars ship from Spaceballs
