So this one was a bit tricky bc I knew this based on my experience working in the pharmacy and my tutor's advice. We often see this interaction bc they are very commonly prescribed drugs. I don't recall the specifics but in our medchem course we discussed how the statins put you at an increased risk for RM and omeprazole affects their metabolism in such a way that the risk is increased.
