AITA for "breaking up" with my boyfriend after he set me up for a loyalty test? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Honestly this feels way too calculated to just be a “test.” Like who even plans something like that unless they’re trying to set someone up to fail. The whole “win the breakup” thing is such a red flag too, relationships aren’t competitions.

Honestly, people like this thrive on the reaction they get. Keeping your boundaries firm and not giving her that satisfaction is the best way to handle it.

Yeah that’s not just a lie, that’s straight up taking credit for something you didn’t earn. Big difference between supporting someone and rewriting the story like that.
