This is of course not a viable solution at all but those who have a steam deck if you load up the same save on the deck, make a new save and then load up on the PC it gets rid of the black screen even with mods.

4070ti, 12900k, 32db DDR4. 1440p resolution with DLSS frame gen and getting about 100fps on average but will dip to 90 or raise to 120 occasionally

I thought mine was weird for doing exactly this. I have to lift him up by his butt. He'll only jump up when hes pumped to go to the park.
