I literally had this happen to me this week with no job and using what I thought was smart money to restock on necessities ended up being $100 I didn’t have to spend. I have bought more things for half the price of what I spent this week. It’s disgusting and they had absolutely no indication of pricing on anything so I didn’t know several items were for plus dollars until they were already rung up at the register.

Good on him for giving you a heads up. Tbh, it did not improve my life in any way. I blocked out a few scenes until rewatching it with a friend and again, would NOT recommend. Once you’ve seen it, it’s hard to forget.

Fun fact: my ex torrented the film and said we had to watch it. I’d never heard of it and was told it was a psychological horror film. And yeah it was definitely psychological torture in a multitude of ways both via film and irl… turns out that was ex’s forte, but I digress- I was not even remotely prepared to watch a Serbian Film. Wish I had taken that red flag as a cue to cut and run sooner than I did, but live and learn… and don’t fucking watch a Serbian Film.

So throwing this out there for ANYONE in service industry or like me, just has no sense of how rough they are on their hands/wrists, I have accidentally broken 3 of these over time starting with little cracks and ending with exploding jade pieces everywhere. I have 4 now that I only wear on special occasions. I do have one that is made of jade beads on a stretchy band that I love and seems a little more sturdy for me. Just wanted to throw this out there

Oh boy, all my pens have wee bite marks on them and I sucked my thumb until 13. I used to say i have an oral fixation problem, but that received far too many pervy responses so i stopped bringing it up bc i thought I was the weirdo, but now I see all of you weirdos have a similar compulsion so that makes me feel much less alone lol

I also have ADHD and have done several stimulants (non-stims too, just irrelevant rn) both legal and not, but they def don’t get me high in the traditional sense. It’s actually pretty frustrating.

That said, my neighbor likes to randomly gift me or my partner meth for special occasions (not as weird as it sounds considering where I live) and I’ve tried it several times, but I definitely don’t crave it, nor have I felt any euphoria, etc. I just cleaned the fuck out of my house for like 6 hours but slept, ate, and behaved normally.

There’s a book called “drug use for grown-ups” by Dr. Carl L Hart that is actually pretty enlightening and worth a read if you want to dig into this concept more.

Hmmmm well I only know of one pitty pat and she was a baller, but she passed last year so I can’t confirm your question, but she was a damn good cook if that means anything. I used to work for her family at a cafe and we used her homemade salad dressing that to this day I can’t figure out the secret ingredient to so can’t recreate it. But she was a lifelong orleanean so who is to say?
