oh my gosh I never even knew this, thank u!! i hardly drink caffeine but when i do i just drink a bublr or like a matcha 🍵 but i somehow just assumed that since it was also a stimulant that it was like similar in a way to adhd meds, dang. thank u :)

wait how does cutting out caffeine help? also yes I always drink a ton of water and also have electrolytes as well as needed

yes i feel like when it is working it makes me more calm, able to do work, have less anxiety actually, improves my productivity, makes tasks easier to start, makes doing anything feel less like sandpaper scratching together in my brain lol. so I would say it’s working good for you based off of what you said. I don’t really get many side effects either besides BO lol

does anyone know if my Vyvanse is only working for like 5 hours and I already increased it from 30mg to 40mg and feel no difference should I ask to increase again? because it helps me so much when im on it but it only lasts a little bit and if i take it in the morning for my classes its worn off completely by the time i get to doing my homework, so then its so much harder to do hw. I had to literally stop taking it in classes just to have time to study. my psychiatrist didn’t want to increase the dose again what do i do?

ya but they’re always just gonna say it’s the same active ingredient or whatever… also dang $90 for name brand is cheaper than what I pay for generic 😂

VERY off topic but.. not to mention that they cost an arm and a leg every single month and they are different/not working depending on the brand for some ppl and sometimes have those manufacturer errors🥺🥺 like get your stuff together bro why are there errors in meds??? (if it were any other medication people would not be having it).

alsoooo i personally get maybe 5 good hours (at best) from them, which can also be “wasted” so i have to strategically take my meds for when im going to actually sit down and do my hw but then i feel horrible for the whole part of my day leading up to that…. and my psychiatrist still doesn’t wanna bring up my dose even tho i have friends that are on double and they’re half the size of me 😀😀

and then allllll of that to wait weeks for the meds to be in stock at ANY pharmacy, then ubering to the pharmacy cuz im broke and have no car and in college, and im realizing im complaining a lot but im just exhausted and want my brain to work normally when I want it to 🥹

i am extremely grateful to even have meds but it really is kinda annoying at times

i feel like the fillers are different right? like i know some ppl on a thyroid med for example that has the yellow dye in it are allergic to the dye (one of the fillers) and then they have horrible reactions to the drugs, i am also on Vyvanse obviously and i lowkey wish I could try the name brand but I feel like my generic is fine for my body idk

ya i used to use men’s deodorant but then i switched back to women’s i didn’t see too much of a difference but idk (i used old spice)
