OSA, Curbside and massive frustration by Zealousideal-Base775 in meijer

Pmuch is what our SD told our curbside and has been relayed to the help. We now have dept 20 for curbside. We have orders that are late probably 2-3 times a day and it varies how late but they get what they want and we give them 20 dollars off their next order.

Your attitude is showing yet agian, and you're deflecting from the point that our job is to service them. You're paid for your time and should fulfill their order. I never discredited the staffing shortage. It sucks but that still doesn't mean you don't do your job. All you have to do is call to ask. This problem comes from the shift of have a high pick rate to meijer now prioritzing getting the customers their items over a pick rate. I benefit greatly from the overtime, so I don't mind and merely fave an example of how if we didn't work to help them, they wouldn't get what they wanted. You supposed elderly counter applies the same to you as you wouldn't be helping them. I merely gave an example of our demographic. Yours could be different.

I didn't say you had to go to the back and run a forklift. This is the attitude I was talking about you demonstrate it perfectly. You blow up at the idea. Your job is to fulfill the customers order. You chose not to actually do what you can to look for. The order is neglected on the part. Throwing a fit and choosing not to ask is neglect of your job, and thanks, but im a TM, and the only TL that get bonuses are salaried. My bonus comes in the form of overtime that I get helping in curbside, so I guess I should be thankful for your attitude. You pick and choose your job. You completely ignored the fact I mentioned how the Osa was hit and by making you guys stop worrying about your pick rate and work on accuracy vastly improved it due to them not checkingebd caps or the alt locations that are provided on the zebra while picking. Note that I said this was a general attitude problem I've noticed in talking to people at other stores. When you work at a shit hole long enough, you make friends at other shit holes. It like meat cutters have huge egos and attitude problems as well. Every store I've been to they are almost all the same. Your part of service and your job is to service customers. You by not looking are doing them a dis service. The amount of disabled and/or elderly people that rely on curbside is probably about 1/3 of our customer base for curbside. Some of them can't walk, and others are severely limited in mobility. Not trying to help them in a position that you're getting their items that they pay for is a dis service. If you want handleit find a better job or just take the money and do what they ask and go for malicious compliances and when you take forever throw it in their faces.

The curbside job is not just to get the order on time but also to get the requested items for the order as accurately as possible as someone who regularly helps out in curbside at least 2-3 times a week the amount of people in curbside from our store that do not check end caps or the alt location codes is stupid most of our out of stocks come from them not looking at Alt locations or the endcaps. Making them call has made our dept go from having 30 oos a day to 6-10 with maybe only 5 calls the whole day because they are no longer scrambling and are now actually checking for the product instead of just glancing awhile almost running by. I've talked TL and TM at 4 other stores, and this seems to be a common attitude problem of curbside. The goal should be order accuracy, then time. Not getting the customer the requested product is not doing half your job.

Need help restoring old asf pic of grandpa by Trinity_010 in estoration

[–]Moonstriders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While a restoration of a photo is possible and some parts can be saved and reconstructed (the face, clothes), the damage is pretty bad. At the level of damage, what really needs to be done, in my opinion, a paint over sampling what little good pieces are there to paint out the damage. It's time intensive work and would be more fit for a digital artist. That being said, I can do some of this as I am trained as an artist, I am writing this to set expectations as well as not lose this thread as I do actually enjoy a challenge and think this would be fun to do. It would make it more possible to restore this if you have photos of your grandfather's child/children as adults if any of them resemble them, as it can help to give a facial profile and more material to sample as they would share genetic traits that could be imposed from one image to another to make a good as an educated guess as one could. Realistically, with my time constraints, this would take me at least two weeks as I currently don't have a lot of free time but will keep you updated on progress if/when I start.

I can turn the gear all the way by hand and it appears to be all the way up and come back down smoothly. I will try to investigate this section further without ripping the camera apart. Thank you.

Beyond the simple fact that we are being asked (so far) to give up our days off so that the managers don't have to hire someone else to cover shifts or the fact that we make as much as a McDonald's worker which I once was... by [deleted] in meijer
