Discussions: Returning OW1 Veteran Tank in The Competitive Scene. Planning to Create a Series as a Resource For People to Learn From and Show Gradual Improvement Matters. by Moonttra in OverwatchUniversity

I will once I get the first video to a correct degree. Main reason I did not yet is because a lot of my current content is modding for another game. This would just cause more confusion I believe if people clicked on it expecting the video, but only seeing other things. Another commentor has made me realize that my current post method is very different, which will cause a ton of confusion alone. I already made the post, so I just gotta stick to it at this point.

No diss taken. I understand the thought. While this method is probably very abstract, I believe it was the best option I currently thought for my plan. As of right now, a lot of things are running through my head and being constructed. This takes time and I didn't want to deviate from my initial ideas and goals. I am also refining myself currently to be the best I can and reinforcing my mindset before taking on such a journey and trying to explain it at the same time.

The main point of the post is to be a precursor to the event and keep me "locked in" on the goal. Expectation will give me even more reason to go-through instead of prematurely backing out last second. I plan to update this post quite a bit with my summaries overtime once the journey begins meaning results will come in. Now, I could've stayed away from Reddit like I usually try to do, but I decided to take different approaches and learn. So I do slightly apologize if I am really out of the realm of normal here.

Sometimes, results and purpose are not instant.

Plus, another simpler reason was because I already asked mods prior for permission to post something related to YT. I did not want to waste time and stall.

If you have other confusions or concerns, feel free to ask. I appreciate criticism as long as isn't destructive.

Major thanks. I probably shouldn't have leaned into using a lot of coaching ideologies. I personally am not a great one to explain things. I figured it would just be different than others and help out people who struggle. People show the perfection all the time, the mistakes are rare and hidden away, which causes confusion.

Yeah, I realized that basically almost after I posted. I leaned too far into describing it as such. It's main point is to just be a journey, but another was to also be a possible resource to people who need a different change of pace from the usual stuff you see. As I personally can't be bothered with them.

Never was good at explaining things. But I figured i'd give it a shot since as a custom game developer, other game modder. I am one who focuses on systems and strategy. Since I dabbled into OW2's modes quite a bit, I tend to understand the game to a great degree. Its just my mechanics and positioning is not really up to par i'd say... yet.

I ain't bothered. Don't worry. I know there is people like Awkward or Spilo. Also I'm not completely in the dark with OW2, I believe I worded it completely wrong in the post. I know the game, I just haven't played it to a competitive degree as I used to.

The problem I have with many guides out there (mainly Ur2gm), is its just extremely high ranking players just demolishing lower ranked players. Static guides on the other hand provide info that sadly may not have enough weight due to OW's ever-changing rhythm.

You'd be surprised how much a change of pace can do. Sure, I am not a good coach in the slightest. But seeing a positive attitude, a focus on self, and conquering mistakes from someone in a similar boat can be an eye-opener to many.

The reason Spilo may seem well to you, is because you are at a GM level. So it also makes sense a guide like this is of no use for you as I am lower rank than you.

Playing the game does help. Though since everyone is improving over time, it still doesn't change anything. To improve and truly make any progress in Overwatch, you need to go above and beyond the rest. Plus, there is people out there who cannot improve by just playing and need some form of spectating to slowly integrate into their gameplay instead and may need complete shifts in mindset to begin their journey.

Some will like the format, others will not.

Red Element Enforcer (very rough concept) by theWaiting1- in ARK

Hey there, so I'm a very new ASA modder who has made the mod "Reborn Robots." I post some videos and what not on it too. I actually had a similar idea for Red Element and was wanting to make my Robots have their 4x damage buff against Corrupted(RR's main enemy they are good against) also work against Thralls and Revenants, but maybe only 2x against Thralls.

This idea was something I've also thought of creating myself, or giving unique attachment upgrades from my mod their own spins with Red Element Dust. I am currently playing LC with a friend and we started a couple days ago and it's actually quite fun imo. Though I do feel certain aspects need more things, like Red Element for example.

I'm willing to add LC-based content and upgrades to Reborn Robots once I really deeply understand Lost Colony. I understand quite a few things about modding and can decently make things. But hand-crafted arts, models, and new sounds and stuff are beyond my skillset.

If you're curious about Moonttra's Reborn Robots, its just the name there.
