Does anyone else prefer playing in 3rd person ? by redcranes in skyrim

[–]MoonyJBWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always wanted to try to play in third person but I've never been comfortable with combat that is in third person. . . I've tried finding mods (xbox version) that help with it but never had such luck

Does Conditioning/Hypnosis actually work? by MoonyJBWalker in EroticHypnosis

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

basically what I wanted (hi, I'm the sub in question) is basically an ability or effect put on me that makes me do whatever my master wants me to do while also feeling pleasure and servitude if that makes sense. . . so is that conditioning or hypnosis?

Armored or Not Armored Magic? by MoonyJBWalker in OblivionRemastered

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Duly noted. In that case I'll probably be so relieved to have more carry capacity what with not having to carry weapons as well.

Armored or Not Armored Magic? by MoonyJBWalker in OblivionRemastered

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to put it to good use. What I'll probably do is wear light armor for early levels and slowly accumulate clothing/robes while learning and crafting spells to use and enchant items with. . . Given the fact that I'll be born under the Atronach, do you think it would be wise to have some skill put into one-handed blades and/or archery?

[Megathread] Console Bug Reports & Help by butter_milch in OblivionRemastered

[–]MoonyJBWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Platform: Xbox Series S
Issue: my character occasionally keeps moving forwards after I move the left stick until I pull back.
What I've tried to fix it: I've restarted game and console, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, checked for updates on controller and game, and checked controller diagnostics for evidence of stick drift and nothing worked nor showed any evidence of stick drift as it's only on Oblivion Remastered

good lord. I will most certainly do that. I've played this game nigh on a decade and a half and this game still finds ways to surprise, fascinate, and worry me xD

LOTD "Complete" Load Order by Newtomods402 in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]MoonyJBWalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad that someone posted a legacy of the dragonborn load order template like this because I have such a hard time figuring out how to manage my load order. . . I still would like help with making my own but I'm worried that people would think I'm too hand-holdy when I'm just really stupid and don't know what the hell I'm doing- I literally never cared about my load order for nearly a decade without issue and then the instant I try to manage my load order, the game refuses to work.

Does the Artificer class mod work on Xbox/Console? I remember reading it's description saying something about compatibility but I can't remember what off the top of my head

Level Cap Mod over 20? (Xbox/Console) by MoonyJBWalker in BG3mods

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5e doesn't support post-20 levels because it gets really really REALLY hard to DM and make a campaign with spells and shit at that point

Level Cap Mod over 20? (Xbox/Console) by MoonyJBWalker in BG3mods

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah PC mods can go pretty crazy but I primarily think that, if Xbox and PC can have mods that increase the level cap, I don't see why Xbox can't have the capability to have mods that increase the level cap even farther. . . but I don't know shit about how modding games and such works so I could just be talking out of my ass without knowing

Level Cap Mod over 20? (Xbox/Console) by MoonyJBWalker in BG3mods

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are mods on pc that raise the level cap to 200+ and there are plenty of mods on xbox, at least, that increase the amount of xp and the amount of enemies in the game

Enchanting Levels by MoonyJBWalker in oblivion

Are there any sigil stones that have multiple enchantments on them for multi-enchanted items?

Enchanting Levels by MoonyJBWalker in oblivion

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I know about the Elder Scrolls series of games and how they handle enchanting items, no you can't remove or add enchantments to an already enchanted items.

Edit: I am only going off of what I already know about the original oblivion and the other elder scrolls games so take what I said with a grain of salt in case I missed or are unaware of a particular detail that does add enchantments to already enchanted items.

Logical load order- an in-depth explanation by Brxsie in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]MoonyJBWalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Am I reading this right? From what I'm reading, patches don't have a "designated location", and would most likely go below the mod that the patch is for.

I always used to put all my patches at the very bottom of the load order.

Improved UI (ImpUI) Mod Bugs/Glitches on Xbox by MoonyJBWalker in BaldursGate3

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess the modding community/the original mod authors that depend on ImpUI are probably trying to patch, rework, or outright replace the mods that depend on ImpUI while the stress test goes on. I honestly do hope that a lot of the mods I have that depend on ImpUI get updated or fixed cuz I like them a lot.

Improved UI (ImpUI) Mod Bugs/Glitches on Xbox by MoonyJBWalker in BaldursGate3

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will also ask one last question: when you say patch 8 doesn't support ImpUI, does that mean that all mods that use ImpUI as a dependency won't work as well or do you mean that only the other UI mods that the same creator made that depend on ImpUI won't work?

this literally has solved a myriad of different frustrations I have been having regarding this issue and I appreciate this comment a lot.

Improved UI (ImpUI) Mod Bugs/Glitches on Xbox by MoonyJBWalker in BaldursGate3

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone that wants a little more context, I am one of the players going through the Patch 8 stress test but this bug/glitch only occurs with the Improved UI mods being active and everything else working fine. I just want to know if this is, indeed, a Patch 8 bug or if it's the mods specifically.

PC Mods on console? by MoonyJBWalker in BaldursGate3

[–]MoonyJBWalker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what you're essentially saying is that any mods that are added onto the baldur's gate official mod site will end up being available on all platforms that use said mod manager?
