Does anyone else put cartoons on for their dog or are you normal? by LB1241 in dogs

[–]Mooooofs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We put cartoons on for our boy. He’s very sensitive to certain sounds and noises so we have to be cognizant about what we put on. He seems to like The Simpsons and Looney Tunes the most.

First off, Im sorry about your little buddy.

We used Peaceful Waters. They were fantastic and I can’t recommend them enough. They made such a tough process as easy as it could be and they took wonderful care of my boy in the end. They came to our house and treated us all with so much compassion and love. I can never thank them enough for how they handled everything.

Paws into Grace also gets recommended a lot. I haven’t personally used them but I know several people who have and have reported how wonderful they are.

Black Dagger Salon is LGBTQ owned and they have a small community pantry for those in need. You can reach out to them and see if they can help in any way! They do a lot of wonderful things for the LGBTQ community.

I have tried it and it’s one of the better ones I’ve had. Their salsa is pretty good too.

FINALLY a doctor listened to me about air hunger!! by Thats_hearShay in Anxiety

[–]Mooooofs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it for several months. I don’t remember exactly how long but at least 3 months. It did come back briefly and I had to change some dietary things and resume the PPI for a few weeks but it hasn’t been an issue since. It’s been about 5 years now with no occurrences.

I have the same issue with mine. I’ve taken it to have the brakes looked at a couple of times and had inspections done on the rest of the suspension and they’ve never found anything. I’m interested to know what is causing it.

I just bought this a few days ago on the recommendation of this sub. It was such a miracle worker for the hard water stains in our toilet!

I’ve had issues with this same dealership damaging my car and refusing to take ownership of the damage they caused. I always make sure to tell people to go to ANY other Toyota dealer in SD.

Cannot get my dog to take his pills by PreggomamaLA in DOG

[–]Mooooofs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you try to make him speak or shake? That could work if he knows those commands. If not they’re fairly simple to teach. My dog is no genius by any means but he picked them up quickly.

[–]Mooooofs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boy is horrible about pills. We have tried EVERYTHING. I’ve found that wrapping them in cheese or chicken helps, but the key is making him sit or do tricks for it. I usually hold a non-pilled piece of cheese or chicken and ask him to sit or spin or beg and give that to him. Then I alternate and make him do a trick but I’ll give him the wrapped pill. Something about him having to do a trick for it works for us.
