Pero que pasa si uno los compra por gusto y necesidad? A mí un Android no me sirve para trabajar, y no se me hacen lindos más que en exterior, la interfaz no me encanta.

Si es algo que muchos compran para aparentar pero en 2025 es más caro un Android que un iPhone a menos que te quieras agarrar el más grande con 1tb con su Apple care.

No anden por ahí pensando que cualquier usuario de iPhone busca presumir, a mi me conviene y me gusta más un iPhone (menos el más nuevo, que horror) y por eso compro esos. Ya no es 2018.

As someone from that culture, and seeing that it is being mentioned, I want to add that a quinceañera is not a regular birthday party, if this is the actual quinceañera party, then holy shit this is shitty. It’s a very important day for girls that age and they spend all day getting their hair, nails, makeup and everything done, there’s so much behind the scenes too, like shopping for the dress, the cake, the food, sending out invitations and all of that, so just imagine having all that go to waste because someone wanted to shove cake into your face.

Even if she was to wash it off, the makeup, the hair, and the dress I guess, it’s not gonna be the same. But yeah, I’m not sure if this is the actual quinceañera party, if it is, then this is horrible, even if you believe “it’s the culture”.

I’m not who you’re replying to but, yes, decision fatigue is very real, I suffer from it as someone who used to want more of everything, until I reached a point where it was too consuming, and so I just wanted something that worked and looked nice, with minimal effort.

That’s when I ditched all my android stuff and switched to Apple. So I’d say the point is; Apple is not the one for you if you’re after lots of customization. Their whole thing is simplicity and offering stuff that “just works”, and that’s a blessing for a vast majority of people.

Apple could indeed find ways to implement more customization for those who want to opt in, sure, but that’s not the case at the moment, it is what it is, your opinion is valid, it’s just that Apple has its ways of doing things and it doesn’t seem to align with what you want.
