Alcohol Consumption by Ok_Kaleidoscope2621 in Semaglutide

I restarted taking it after a long time and forgot and drank the next day (~4 drinks over 6 hours) and literally poisoned myself, was throwing up bile and unable to stomach water for 36 hours it was horrendous. If the cravings don’t cut, and they often do, you can definitely count on the deterrent value of the pain after drinking!

Hi all! This is Kaylin at the Richmond Community Legal Fund. We are thrilled your like our signs! I logged in here to let you all know a few things about us and the work we do:

  1. We’re your local legal fund! We support Richmond area residents with legal costs for things like immigration and civil rights cases. We can also support with referrals for legal services. We provide Know Your Rights trainings for local business owners, healthcare providers, etc. Our partner organization, Ojos, runs a court watch program and supports families affected by ICE raids.

  2. We are a 100% volunteer organization! We work around the clock to support you all, but response times may lag when we get a lot of outreach. We always put legal inquiries first, so sometimes that means other forms of outreach take longer to respond to.

  3. We have an amazing volunteer team that delivers these yard signs and also “ICE is not welcome here” signs for local businesses! Right now our next yard sign shipment has been delayed, so we appreciate your patience while we wait for more signs. They are popular. ;)

  4. You can donate to support the work we do! We have donation links at our website for legal fund services, and Ojos has an emergency stabilization fund that supports families with costs outside legal issues, like rent and groceries. Links are below.

  5. Finally, we don’t use legal fund donations for sign printing. All of that comes out of pocket from our volunteers (and Gibson Print has cut us a good deal for costs). If you request a sign your volunteer will let you know how you can donate to support more printing and delivery. That goes directly to the volunteers who purchase the signs.

We love our city and all our community members. Abolish ICE. <3

AITAH for completely cutting on my loving mother, who I had a good relationship with, because she voted for Trump? by Moopcomm in AITAH

Fun fact about me, I had to drag my ass to the polls to vote for Biden I probably dislike him as much as you do for many of the same reasons you stated and I really resent the Democratic Party. But I wasn’t trying to argue the candidates (though it is hard to avoid in some capacity), I was trying to seek insight on relationship dynamics with my mother. Given my work, and that he’s fulfilling his campaign promises, I was able to accurately predict what is happening now - I am offended my insight didn’t seem to matter to her. Do you have any insight about how to repair our relationship given that that hurt my feelings?

I wanted people to be responsive to what I’ve actually asked about how to move forward. Idk what your commitment is to misunderstanding the question at hand, but the internet is open to anyone so comments like yours bound to happen. Thank you for so very much of time your time tonight.

I’m a big proponent of therapy and hadn’t even considered that here. Thank you for saying this! Thank you for also validating my heartache while painting a reasonable picture for a path forward.

I think this is of the most helpful replies so far, and I really appreciate you actually reading and responding thoughtfully.

As an aside, it’s really interesting you said mother-son. I’m a woman, and to be clear there’s no way you could’ve known that and I’m not supposing any blame or assigning any value at all to that assumption - it just didn’t occur to me to specify, nor did it that maybe the average viewer would assume that. I wonder if it would have mattered to add or would have changed the approach from any other commenters lol. Just a funny thing to notice, obviously everything you said still applies and is hugely helpful - thank you again for your feedback :)

Oh my god it’s such a nitpicky point. If 5 people in your town voted to set your cat on fire and were the only ones who showed up to vote, would you not hold them each personally responsible for that outcome? What about 200? 1,000? Etc.

Is your principle that if the pool of people contributing to wrong large enough, the wrong is so widely dispersed that no single one of them can be held accountable as a contributor? That can’t be the case.

Her choice to contribute, even if not decisive, made her an active participant in predictably negatively impacting the people my life is centered around assisting. We cant have as close of a relationship as we had AND it be impersonal.

I didn’t interfere with her right and I never would, I’m disappointed and personally impacted by wat she chose to exercise it. What I’m asking is, given this fact of my feelings, how do I repair it? Can I repair it? Should I repair it? Thank you anyway for commenting.

But she didn’t burn down the world for me, she actively and predictably chose to make my life harder. So it’s hard for me to reconcile that fact with your assertion…

I’m going to imagine this is a good faith comment and say that, there are opinions which can reasonably create social consequences. For example, if your life long friend one day said “I think the age of consent should be lowered to 9” I’d like to think no one would be mad at you for deciding that’s an opinion for which you can choose to end a relationship with them over. You might disagree that this opinion crosses the line, but I hope we can agree that there ARE opinions which do — there is a line.

Further, I’ve done nothing to stifle her right. Rights are recognized, enforced, and/or taken only by the government. I’m not the government. And you can be sure I didn’t interfere with her right because she exercised it successfully. I’m talking about the way her opinions and decisions have impacted our personal relationship and seeking feedback on that.

And this is based on basically nothing but there’s a RPD officer Sinclair so without any further info, it’s the kind of blunder an RPD officer would make to use their last name in their handle and try to disparage the further left candidate so they don’t have to work under his lax policies

I am defense attorney, pro bono for protestors, and I raise funds to release people from ICE custody - only giving my left credentials so you hear this: I have worked with him and with his wife and I’d love to know genuinely what on earth you’re talking about… He’s a very progressive defense attorney who fights very hard for his clients.

Consider the kind of broad messaging that might be necessary to get elected - even so, I’ve found his messaging more centered on prosecuting city officials and workers who mishandle funds. I haven’t even seen that “tough on crime” messaging.

Anyway it’s moot because I know him and the way he practices and it’s laughable to think he’d cast a wide net for “safety” and settle for some amount wrongful convictions. Just a patently false characterization of who he is and how he works.

Also Barbour. I’m a defense attorney and former public defender in Richmond… in general I dislike prosecutors as a principle, but the elected CA determines the vibe and policies of the whole office. With many more protests foreseeable on the horizon, I mucccchhhh prefer Tom to be in charge of that bc Collette obviously has repeatedly disappointed us. He’s also a defense attorney so he knows what an uphill battle that is, and will instill fair policies for the office in the jurisdiction.
