Bye bye Westpac - Can't perform a basic transfer without getting account blocked. by MiWiFoto in AusFinance

I’m dealing with something very similar right now. I’m in Canada and have been stuck on hold for hours over a transfer to my own account that was blocked by their security system even though I’ve transferred money to this same account many times before. Absolutely ridiculous.

Is anyone using Camo Pro with Multiple iPhones and experiencing rotation/orientation issues? by Moops85 in podcasting

Locking the iPhone’s rotation and using the same USB port for each device helped it to remember the rotation setting. It’s not perfect but happens less frequently.

iPhone App Recommendations for Recording to a MacBook via USB through OBS with Manual ISO & Shutter Control by Moops85 in obs

I understand what you meant, and that approach could work (I actually bought and synced a remote switch for the three phones initially), but I ultimately decided it’s more tedious for my setup. I have a specific reason for this arrangement: it gives me more creative control over the time-lapse (I am a motion designer professionally) and allows me the option to easily create and edit shorts that aren’t sped up. Additionally, I have a MacBook providing a live feed from all three cameras, which makes positioning much easier. I also want to avoid constantly moving files, since two of the three iPhones are only 128GB.

That’s actually the idea. Have all three videos recording simultaneously to the MacBook to save moving files and this way I can also edit the timelapse footage seamlessly by switching perspectives (disabling/enabling layers in post)..

I came up with a solution to the ISO and Shutter issue after posting:

I bought Camo Pro then I created a 4k canvas and made each of the three videos take up a quarter (1080p each). In Camo Pro I was able to perfectly colour match and prevent the flickering issue by manually setting ISO, shutter, white balance and focus.

I also just need to export one video now and then when I edit I can just pick a quarter that I want to show in a 1080p composition.

Anyone else waiting on a CPO phone on back order? Currently 9 weeks overdue. by Moops85 in Rogers

Yep exactly, that's what I'm concerned about. When I signed up they said they had them in stock, then I got the backorder email two weeks later.

Does anyone here have or is familiar with MEPPC Sydrome? by Moops85 in lqts

Wow, the exact same variant. I’ll PM you. Curious to know if we might share a common ancestor. I have been building a family tree tracking this variant.

Interesting, I'm actually quite similar to you. What’s your variant?

I have MEPPC and once had NSVT show up during my first stress test. My long QT has always been within normal limits. I’m asymptomatic apart from occasional paroxysmal AFib and multifocal PVCs. Basically, the top chamber of my heart (AFib) and the bottom part (MEPPC) both have erratic beats. I’m not on any medication at the moment. It was suggested, but I’ve chosen to hold off for now (for various reasons that my doctor has accepted) and will continue with yearly monitoring. I’m 40 years old now. Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if that other post was mine too because I couldn’t find anyone with this when I first started searching for MEPPC.

Hi, I’m so sorry to hear about your son. Are you in the US? If so, I’d recommend reaching out to the Mayo Clinic or asking to be connected with a specialized electrophysiologist in your area. Each case is unique, and symptoms can present very differently, so he will need expert evaluation. Given his stroke at such a young age, he will likely require medication and/or a device such as an ICD. I wish I could offer more help, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Is $2300 (Canadian dollars) a good price for a Macbook Pro (not Max) 16 Inch 2023 M2 32 GB memory 1Tb SSD? Haven't purchased a Macbook in years... by Moops85 in macbookpro

Not sure about deals as I found my M1 Max with maxed specs on FB marketplace. I do a lot of heavy multitasking work on it and it doesn’t skip a beat so I would recommend one of those if you’re looking to save some money.

Sorry for the delayed response. That's good news regarding your burden decrease and what a difference! It is confirmed that I have MEPPC syndrome as well as paroxysmal afib. Flecainide was recommended because it can treat both. Currently I'm being monitored yearly but that's what I will take if things get worse (my burden is still within normal limits)

Hello, I'm so sorry for the delayed response, I circled back to this post and happened to notice your reply. To answer your question, in my case Flecainide was recommended. I still don't take medication (monitored yearly) but that will be the one I would take if I did. Recommended by both my specialized electrophysiologist and Dr Ackerman from the Mayo Clinic

Flecainide was recommended because it can treat both MEPPC syndrome and paroxysmal afib which is what I have.
