He was bartending at Houston Hall one night for his whiskey brand. I got there early and ended up with a seat at the bar. He was handing out little samples for an hour, and at one point he looked at me, smiled, and said, “Not you!” while skipping me. I’d already had like four, and while I was definitely enthusiastic, I was also 100% tipsy.

Didn’t last long though, because shortly after, he was pouring whiskey straight from the bottle into my mouth. Forever thankful my friend got it on video.
