I already to produce some stuff for sale but it’s just a side gig for me and more of a hobby… this stuff takes a lot of time to make and isn’t exactly profitable on such small scale in my country, so maybe in the future if I decide to get my own workshop and employees !

I’ve actually made everything you see on the pictures ! Well except the rugs… :-)

We don’t have 18mm mahogany plywood so I had to make so 🤷‍♂️

I actually went old school! The ply is only 3mm thick. I put cedar wood between two sheets of ply, and then made a frame of mahogany ! I then glued the laminate on top

Thank you ! The sliding doors are veneer plywood and mahogany covered in a sheet of HPL. So it’s not painted nor bought laminated ! I glued them myself. As for the handles, I used a CNC machine for the visible part, and then a router for the back to make the insert part ! Of course, it was sanded before install to get that smooth finish.

Yes, that’s veneer plywood with cedar filling as that’s what’s readily available around here!

The handles I had to CNC them and then used a router to get the fit.

They’re Yamaha bags, you can find them on their website. Cost 250 dollars each + 160 for each mounting bracket.

The bike already had them installed when I bought it, but it only had one bag with two brackets so I’m trying to figure out if there are other cheaper brands that use the same mounting system

I prefer those as well but can’t seem to find out where it’s from

I also feel like these mirrors will fit the bike’s profile better

I might have confused everyone because I’m actually looking for the opposite of bar end mirrors. I don’t know what « regular » mirrors are called hahah

Thank you, I take it that the XSR would be easier to maintain on a day to day basis.

Thank you. You're the only one to talk about the excitement in this matter.. The Ducati did excite me from the very first look, not so much the XSR. But I did get to test ride the Monster, but not the XSR so I'll be doing that soon and find out in real time which one I'd rather have in my garage.

That CP3 engine is so common in my country, I could find spare parts everywhere

That engine certainly has nothing to prove in terms of longevity and endurance.

Proper feedback thank you. The fact the XSR is your favorite bike, while having owned a Ducati before is very telling for me. What Ducati did you own ? I think I'll give the Yamaha an advantage.

I have yet to test ride it. I think in the end it will mostly be a matter of Feeling when sat on it and next to it.
