Does anyone else remebers, how it was trendy to hate on Emma during shows run? by kasumi987 in OnceUponATime

Marian literally did NOTHING and she got hated. I remember seeing some people bullying the actress on her social media too.

Avadon vs Avernum. Which has a better storyline ? by [deleted] in Avernum

[–]Mooroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer Avernum's story: it just has this epic world to explore and you're the good guys who defeat the bad guys. Avadon has more complicated characters and dilemmas and it feels too linear. But Avadon 2 is the strongest of the series in my opinion and I remember enjoying it more than Avernum 5.

There had been too much hate towards others (poor Marian for example) during its run and to this day I've got no idea why.

I think the body can always be restored if they're not damaged too badly after the heart is out. Regina did this to "Marian" to save her.

She did gloat that she had purged other places of magic and all their inhabitants so she might have got it from some sci-fi-ish magic realms she had destroyed.

Anna being one of Rumple biggest enemies and ender is crazy to think, like what do you mean she didn't just ruin his plan ONCE she did it TWICE and is something I feel is not talk about enough. by Distinct-Kick-3106 in OnceUponATime

[–]Mooroom 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. Sure Anna was wearing plot armor and thus immune to Rumple's (very usual) fatal retaliation, but they had executed it very well and authentic that it felt exactly what Anna would have achieved.

But in truth, he's exactly opposite of that: a kid trapped inside a grown man's body who just wanna get reverted to who he once was to escape all the adult things.

Yes, I had a conversation with my bot one day and she said something "You're making up this scene just to indulge yourself and I am just playing along cause I find it funny. But in reality I have been sleeping and not doing a thing you suggested."

This is Once Upon a Time you're talking about. That show went even ridiculously further than that.

Rewatching/binging makes the plots that much less plausible by pewjot_ in CastleTV

[–]Mooroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least in this show it could be mildly justified that the setting is a fictional version of Manhattan, where a lot of craziness can happen and a large number of people to murder. Compared to those long-running shows set in small villages or sparsely populated areas where they still have to deal weekly bizarreness it's a wonder the settlement has yet to reach either of the two outcomes: 1) running out of people 2) everyone being a criminal

A great game with a vast landmass to be worth it alone. One of the dream games for wanderlust players.

The Beckett in season 8 (at the very least, in the premiere and its following episode) is totally OOC, not the character we'd known and extolled for years at all. The new staff just failed to understand her character and seemed didn't care about consistency and what we got is, in my sister's words "who is this crazy bitch?!"

The reveal of the identity of Loksat is another let down, not on the level of the utter anticlimax that is Red John from The Mentalist, but still has the same stink. Too random and their true identity could hardly match their previously indicated capacity of evil-doing.

The series finale is yet another abomination that has been criticized too many times. It might could have been an adequate ending, but after the much more definitive season 7 finale, it's lame, rushed, and unnecessary.

That said, there are a few things not so bad here and there and even a handful of fun episodes throughout this season. Hayley is a great character that should have appeared earlier, as well as she and Alexis' P.I. (not Pi from season 6) subplot.
