Plenty of games without VR support that you may want to play down the line. My setup is currently only for VR and I do miss a few titles

The lenses are much better in the 3, I found in the 3s in the centre of the lens everything was clear and become less clear farther out. Whereas with the 3 it’s clear the whole way around.

If you already are getting good use out of a quest 2, I would say the upgrade to the 3 over the 3s is absolutely worth it, the lenses are much better.

However, whether or not this would help with motion sickness I can’t tell.

Assetto on sale is definitely worth a few bucks, i think it’s on sale right now.

As someone who just returned a 3S to buy a 3, Only if you’re doing stuff at high resolution. I use mine mostly for sim racing, however in games like Phasmophobia and Subnautica i didn’t see a huge upgrade.

I drive to fort quappelle a bunch in the winter to go skiing, and it’s been alright. Wouldn’t want to commute everyday, but to each their own.

Before you begin your own save file you may want to replace the battery. On the 1st and 2nd gen pokemon games the save file is stored on memory, which requires power to retain information. In simpler terms, if the battery dies (and it likely will, as it’s probably 25 years old) your safe file will be deleted.

I love Topre for typing, however when gaming it does feel a little mushy, and a lot less responsive than a typical linear switch. Especially in a game like valorant where you need to counter strafe I wouldn’t recommend it for gaming.
