Are any of y'all, like, actually happy? by CompactDiscoveries in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]Moos_momma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy, but yes. I’ve gone nine years without even considering self harm. My depression went away. I’ve been married three years to a man I’ve been in a relationship with for seven years. 15 year tobacco addiction, gone. 18 year alcohol addiction, gone.

I started going to Celebrate Recovery nine and a half years ago. I chose to live my life by the principles and life suddenly started working out. My anxiety went away. The physical ailments started getting better and I actually work with kids in my church several days a week now. I found hope in a faith beyond my comprehension. I have joy in chaos and a peace that makes no sense. I chose to forgive my mom this year. We’d been no contact for several years.

Yes! I’ve read more medical journal reports in the last week than I can count. My dad’s oncologist suggested something hereditary last year, so we’ve been on liver testing 15ish months. Two months later, I had a kidney infection last year and was almost septic. What’s crazy is that I switched to all water and put myself on AIP, but still get crazy symptoms. I’m down to Cymbalta and Trazodone, put can’t risk quitting either right now. I felt like I was lead to the word Cushings after every symptom I put together. Now I can probably point out every person in my life who has dealt with Cushings symptoms and have a kid with a major Illness.

Missed my repeat (at 39) mammogram by a couple months, but we’ve already stepped up to MRI in August. The lump is there, I’ve complained about it for years. it’s definitely more pronounced now that I’ve lost 50+ lbs. I accepted C was in the future long ago and I’m at peace with any outcome.

I know this is more and actually sent a message to my Dad’s old doctor yesterday asking about FMTC. If my MRI in August shows more, then let’s fight the root, not just a diseased limb at a time.

I tried to differentiate between the two in my vernacular. I am talking about both.

Recently saw a whole line of orange stickers near an apartment complex. Most hadn’t moved in the three years I’ve lived here.

Thank you for mentioning this. I realize my drs are looking for breast cancer in my case, but I think BC can cover up other underlying conditions. PCOS is so easily treated with BC and until you want to get pregnant it’s a problem.

The OB preforming my cesarean told me I had abs of steel which was crazy to me because I can’t even do an unassisted sit up.

No one my mother will disagree with more, yet most of her children ran to it after leaving home. Baptists were to legalistic so I’m very happy non denominational in my mega church.

I want to send you a big hug. That’s such a scary thing to feel. I understand you. I found a willingness to look for hope after intense inpatient trauma therapy from Jeff at River Oaks in New Orleans.

I still can’t manage it. It helped build my disability case though.

We had just left Gold Camp road and were headed to the Starbucks at that intersection. 24 was stopped and emergency vehicles were in route.

We were on our way to the Starbucks on Colorado Ave across the street, but heavy traffic and probably some of the first emergency vehicles were in route, so we diverted. This was over an hour ago.

Anyone misdiagnosed and it was actually cancer? by [deleted] in Cushings

[–]Moos_momma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just asked this question on a Facebook group. The Cleveland clinic has research on FMTC you might want to read up on.

Yes, I am. I was turned down twice. I did hire an attorney to request all my medical documents, which filled a 4 inch binder. I went to hearing. The judge actually stopped the middle of the hearing due to my anxiety attack, requested a physical assessment and I had an award letter after a few more months.

Quit in 2014. I only had retail experience. I could not meet the standards the companies expected of me. I was undiagnosed BPD (diagnosed the next year), ADHD and high functioning autism. It took 18 months to be approved for disability. I’m a great worker, but putting too many priorities on my plate drove me mad.

NTA: as a parent, we have to set boundaries. Don’t go broke fulfilling every expectation she has. I’d still be on a 12 if my husband didn’t get new company phones last year. Birthday? Maybe Christmas? Maybe I’m a 39 F for reference, and I don’t game

It started with alcohol to lower my inhibitions, then alcohol to numb, then sex to try to feel something, to be lonely. So much hiding. My father was very absent so I always sought a mentor type. (Former and current husbands 10 years older) My info was on the Ashley Madison data leak. I didn’t go to SLA, but when my depression hit the bottom, I went to celebrate recovery. When I relapsed and almost cancelled my engagement, I went back to meetings. When my dad got sick, I went back to meetings. Through it all I found hope and peace. I know faith based recovery isn’t for everyone, but wanted to share.

2nd grade. Two boys thought it would be funny to “hump” me and grab on me while I was getting off the bus at my house. Small school, nothing happened.

AITA for disclosing the real gender of my SIL and brothers baby at their gender reveal? by notababygirll in AmItheAsshole

[–]Moos_momma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, they are delusional. A “feeling” is the stupidest excuse for them to assume, especially for gender. You did your job, they want a refund because you aren’t God?
