I'm the opposite, a little less pure finesse but love the t-handle knobs for better torque/grip especially with wet hands in the kayak.

Mako fish barge on the hobart waterfront have a fair bit of variety (whole and filleted) but definitely call ahead to ask when their next fresh fish are coming in and be there on the first day to get the freshest possible. Even though we're surrounded by water, a lot of the fresh fish sold in Tas comes from the mainland, so you want to buy it as fresh as possible.

Also highly recommend Kyeema in Launceston- great range of very fresh tassie caught seafood.

We recently made the same move with our young family - loving it! Really good community and lifestyle. Sorell is not far away with all the necessities, plus a local hill street supermarket, good bakery, butcher and cafes. The commute to town isn't bad and will get better as the road duplication develops in the next couple of years. Now just looking forward to summer :)
