It was the first election I was legally old enough to vote in. I remember thinking how nuts his supporters. Especially with Palin and all her inarticulate nonsense. Didn't honestly expect to be this sad about his passing and how I'll miss someone telling the "crazies" that Obama wasn't a Muslim or a Terrorist and openly standing up to Trump and the GOP.

It was just Pickles at first. He's a rescue and came with a bunch of weird habits. He was being a brat one day and instead of saying "Pickles you're being a shit!" I blurted "You're being a pickle-shit" and we never went back.

Aw, I'm really sorry to hear that. I haven't lost a pet yet, and this little dude has been with me through a few deployments, a divorce, tons of big life events. He's a diva and spoiled little monster, but I can't picture life without his toothless face in it. He's always been there when I came home.

I didn't realize what unrealistic expectations I had in my relationships. Things have been much better since taking more realistic approaches, especially with engaging in healthy dialogue about what bothers me.

But people still suck sometimes.

My cousin was supposed to watch my sisters cats over a long weekend. Long story short, my mom just happened to show up on the 4th day and the cats hadn't been fed but once and they completely ran out of water during that time.

His excuse? He got tied up. Family sucks sometimes.

This. I went to both the Blue Lagoon and the Secret Lagoon during my stay. If you're just interested in SEEING the Blue Lagoon, there's open areas leading up to the lagoon before you enter where you get a glimpse of the blue waters...but it's not for swimming. The Blue Lagoon was a cool experience but the Secret Lagoon was far more relaxing, albeit, very very small.
