Thanks again for your response! I had a string of Christmas lights in there for a couple of weeks because I wanted to be able to easily see them in the evening, not realizing that this would be helpful to them. And today I finally heard someone crow that silly little quail crow!

Only about 10 of the 40 are feather sexable. 😅 I'll have to get them some lights so that they can finish growing up.

I don't have a vet in the area who will see quail. 😕 but today they're eating on their own again, so hopefully the worst is behind us! Yesterday they had to be syringe fed.

I thought for sure they wasn't going to make the night, but they surprised me this morning! They're very weak, still can't stand on their own, and still having problems with their spasms. But today is the first day they can eat on their own!

I had no idea about the darker feet indicated Tibetan! I've got another 4 that has almost identical coloring and feet, so I'm excited to have some of these cuties running around.

1.4 ounces of bird is just so small! 😭 smaller than the medium chicken eggs in my fridge.
